If You Are Using U2's "Beautiful Day"
Martha replied to Martha's topic in Wedding Music & Entertainment
Morgan, How did this end up working out? Heck, you may not have even noticed it! -
That's the day before my birthday, so it is a good day! Welcome to the board and happy planning!
-
oh no, Abbie! What a mess! In no time at all you are going to be relaxing on the beach as Mrs. and these things will be far from your mind!
-
Sucks for the 12,000 employees they are letting go.

That's cool, Yari! I was just thinking earlier that I can't wait until Noah is older so we can take him camping. We love camping!

I am a Texas girl....there are quite a few that live in the Dallas area. I live in San Antonio, so I can't help you, but I will say that if money is one reason you want a DW, havng a wedding in Dallas will cost A LOT more. But, if it's not a matter of money, then I say follow your heart and have it where you want to have it! We are having a DW because if we had it here, it would cost A LOT because we would have 250 plus guests...this way we are only having 35.

For those of you who have ever been on a cruise...
Martha replied to CourtneyV's topic in Cruise Weddings
I have only been on Carnival. I don't really care for them, but they always have good deals and the port is only 4 hours from where I live, so it is convenient. Food is okay, but never great....entertainment is pretty good. I don't think it is geared towards college kids, but I never go out at night, I am always in bed by 10, so I really don't know. -
Welcome to the board! What are you confused about? I am also a "Jays Girl!" Happy planning!

My brother had one and returned it within a week. It kept freezing on him and stuff...too many programs on it, I think. Yari, is the second version already out? For a phone like that, I think it's good to wait for the 2nd or 3rd version so that they fix all the little problems with it. Glad you like yours though! We used to have ATT when they were Cingular and we really liked them...we never should have switched to T-Mo!

Thanks guys....I couldn't sell anyone anything. I am horrible at stuff like that! I would love to do counseling....I wonder how I could get in to something like that? I will have to look around! You guys have come up with some great ideas, thanks!

I have text'd before, but I would check with your carrier to check rates. T-Mobile charges a higher rate, you don't get to use your texts for free even with an unlimited text plan. And, ditto to what Abbie says, just call them to set up internation or Mexico plan depending on what they have.

PM your email and I'll have her email ya. I will tell you that she is SUPER busy and works A LOT. But, if she and her DH plan on going on vacation somewhere, she just makes sure she doesn't schedule a wedding that week. Which is hard because she may have a wedding every weekend for 3 months straight. She has a busy seasons and then not-so busy seasons. I am sure she will be more than happy to help you!

I'd love to be home full time too! Amy Amy, that's a great idea....my only issue is that no district will want to hire me because I will be 6 months pregnant and will need at least 6 weeks off in November/December. I really shouldn't say they wont, because in our field where it is mostly women, I think they expect women to take maternity leave, right? She eventually got the hours she needed and well, I don't know all the steps, but now she does mostly weddings, but has planned million dollar weddings and events/parties for some important people. She has even been published in wedding magazines...all this in about 3 years! Want me to ask her for you? She makes GOOD money too.

I've been looking, but I don't recall seeing anything like that...I will have to keep an eye out though. Thanks, Lauren!

Welcome to the board! If you look at the Riviera Maya forum on here, you might be able to get some location ideas. Happy planning!

Willl his work schedule change? Not being able to spend time with the one you love, sucks. I know that! Jay doesn't like when he is home and it's during the school year because I get home arond 4ish and am in bed by 8. Well, not normally, but last time he was home I was because I was SUPER tired because I was in my first trimester. I hope it gets better for you soon!
