    John & I aren't going to be able to make it either. I've gotten a job offer that I think I'm going to take and with the way the unit I'm going to is backed up I doubt I'll have any time off at all for the next 3 years...boo

    DH wore a full black suit He was pretty hot, but he stayed out of the sun as much as he could and took his jacket off whenever he could. And I made sure he drank a lot of water!

    The new dress is gorgeous. I wasn't really digging the other one - the flowers looked big and cartoonish, not elegant.

    DH had steak while we were at Tao and said it was the best steak he's ever had! (And he's a big steak guy, so I take his word for it )

    We're lucky to have HIM! He's taught us so much and for a few hours a week we get to be kids again, so much fun!!

    We're not sure - his mom's partner wants them to stay with her because she's been their main caregiver for the last 5 years, but I'm sure they'll end up with their dad (not bad though because he's a great guy).

    Ugh I bought Guitar Hero for DH for Xmas...it was fun at first, but I started to get some serious motion sickness after a while so I can't play it anymore Fun though! If my eyes could take it I'd love to try rockband, but I guess I'm SOL

    I hate to laugh, but I keep thinking about the guy from There's Something About Mary LOL Ok in all seriousness though - maybe try taking half a Benadryl before the wedding? (although try it out in advance just to make sure it works!)

    I used to get the worst shin splints if I walked for any length of time - I went to my chiropractor and got orthotics to slip into my shoes (they're the kind you can take in and out of shoes, not the ones that replace the insoles) and they're great! No shin splints anymore!

    Yea we really have to be careful about how places ship stuff to us...I never buy from places if they ship via UPS anymore because I've been screwed by brokerage fees too many times!
