Marla, when you meet with Nicole she will ask you what type of set up you like, or if you aren't doing a site inspection/visit before your wedding, you can probably let her know how you would like the tables set up any time before your wedding...and she'll make it happen! Hi Everyone...I'm not sure where to post this, so I thought I'd try here...does anyone know of a website (that is free) where my DH can post our wedding video for you all to see? The file is quite large, I think he said about 1G - we don't really want to cut anything out, it is very cool!!! (if I do say so myself!) He did so much work editing it all, I really want to be able to show it to you all! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Lindsay

Tammy - your pics are beautiful! What a romantic, intimate wedding... I agree with Jessalyn, I really liked the table set up at dinner - with everyone looking out on the ocean, it was perfect! Lindsay -

It costs about $70 per person, but that includes free bar and food. I second the sailing cruise around the bay! We did this on our honeymoon week, and we are SO glad we did!!!!! It was so much fun and such a beautiful day. We saw dolphins and lots of whales. We were on a boat with 6 other people, so it was just the 8 of us, plus the 2-man crew! We got to sail the boat as well! It was just awesome! You are served a fruit bowl first thing, then some chips & salsa, and then you have lunch, and it is open bar. It was great! Lindsay

I have to second Ann's opinion on Las Caletas. Simply put, it was AMAZING. The wedding coordinators are wonderful, they do a fantastic job. There isn't much for "decor" for the wedding, but you do not need it...the surroundings are lush and beautiful. If you want any info on Las Caletas, or Puerto Vallarta, feel free to ask! Lindsay

Yeah, I'm glad that we did the AHR, but it was SO much work...we did absolutely everything ourselves, the food, bar, decorations, cakes, everything! I almost wish that we would have gone with a venue that set up everything for us, but this was more cost effective... We had about 150 people at our AHR and of those, only 30 were in PV with us, so it was worth it, we showed our video (that my incredibly creative DH edited) and everyone loved it! It was fun, but like I said, a TON of work!!! I'm kind of a control freak though, I wanted to be in charge of everything, so it probably didn't have to be that much work, but I made it so! We decided to do bright tropical colors to liven up the drab hall/gym we rented, it turned out really well!!! If I were to do it all over again, I probably would have made our AHR much more casual and laid back - more like a big BBQ instead of a formal-type reception, less stressful!!!! After planning all of this and doing all the work though, I must say I'M SO GLAD WE GOT MARRIED IN MEXICO!!! I don't think I would have been able to handle the stress of planning the ceremony and details on top of all the reception stuff!!! Lindsay

We had our AHR on June 30th, it was tons of fun - but TONS of work - I'm sure glad we had the actual wedding in Mexico!!!!! I'm going to post pics as soon as I get them uploaded to photobucket.... Lindsay

Hi Tara; Our ceremony started a bit late, like maybe 6:30 - 6:45?? The boat was late arriving with the guests and FH - so we were a bit rushed before the ceremony, but we still managed to squeak in a bunch of pictures before it got too dark. Roberto was very good and even though he was rushed he still got some great daylight shots!!! I totally understand about having daylight pics - I feel the same way now, after seeing all of the beautiful bright June pics - but I still love our pictures!!! Lindsay and Ann is right - the morning boat leaves at 9am...

My "My Publisher" cabo vacation book..
TA Lindsay replied to TammyB's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
Tammy your book looks great!!! Haha - you want to do my wedding book!!!? I love the look/ease of use of MyPublisher, but I just hate that it costs me an arm and a leg for shipping up to Canada. I have found a Canadian company to order photobooks from, but their layouts just aren't as nice as Mypublisher!!!! 'sigh.... I can't wait to make my photobooks - hopefully I will have time soon!!!!!
