Are there any other places I should go to as well? Another popular US chain? Also, for the canadian girls that did buy a dress at David's (or anywhere else in the USA) did you pay the full duties on the dress? Or have problems at the border in general? Thanks Not sure how it works at the border where you are, but here (Ontario), I put it in the trunk and put some light stuff on top of it (it was in the dress bag of course), and did not say a word about it. They asked what we were doing there, we said we did a little shopping. He said okay thanks. And that was it.

So, I will get my sister to talk to him about it and bring it up like she has no idea. I hope it works.

He might just tell me he wants a white flower, that is something he would say. lol I will talk to my sister about it tonight and see if I can get him to show her. I hope it works.
  6. Laura, you could always use a real flower as well. Get your florist to get it for you. It can't be too expensive for 1 flower. Unless you want to keep the clip to use for something else.

BUT, how do I ask him to do that without telling him why I am asking him? His GM's are no help either, none of them dress very well. lol
  8. I do care what he wears though, not sure why. I guess its because of how he used to dress, trust me it was bad. I want us both to look great on the day and in pictures. He is being so sweet as well, our colours are pink and chocolate brown and ivory, and he said he did not care what the colours were as long as he did not have to wear pink. I said no, white and tan was good. Well, he tells me that he got a pink and white striped shirt and a brown tie. That sounds like it could be nice and it goes with our colours, but I am scared, what if its tacky? He said he is going to look amazing and he loves the outfit. Should I just trust him. I want to, but I am freaked out inside. Maybe I am just a controll freak and want to know what he is wearing. lol I have no idea.
  9. Alright, I am a little nervous right now. My FH finally got his suit in today, and got fitted for it and its being altered now. Well, I gave him some ideas of what I wanted, but that is it. He did the rest on his own and he does not want me to see what it looks like till we see each other for the first time while walking down the aisle. I think this is sweet, but I am also worried that I am going to hate what he is wearing. Before me, he dressed terribly, I have helped him out with the way he dresses and he looks much better now. But, I am so scared that he will revert back to his old ways or something. Am I being silly, are/did other people let their FH surprise them? He really wants to surprise me, and I am really scared about this. Am I crazy?
  10. I just got this in an email Wedding Hairstyles Gallery | Brides.com Its supposed to be beachy casual hair ideas. Hope it helps someone.

What a good little boy you have there. Congratulations.

OMG, that is sooo cute. What a sweetie. He is trying to be a big boy and help out his mommy. I love it. How old is he?

So I go to get a cloth to clean it and Rayden runs into the living room, opens a drawer and grabs a piece of bright orange tissue paper. He runs back into the kitchen and gets on his hands and knees and starts scrubbing at the mess!! Of course he made the mess 10 times worse, but he tried so hard to help his mommy clean it up!! OK Im done bragging now! That is soo cute. Its funny what kids pick up on and you had no idea they even noticed. My niece (Ava) is a clean freak and she is 22 months old. She goes into the middle bedroom in my house (this is where I keep all the boxes I have yet to unpack and things I don't know where to put), and says "its a mess, Julie clean it up, Ava will help K". So, I know how you are feeling, I had that melting moment then as well. Rayden is so cute, you must have just wanted to squeeze him when he did that.
  14. Okay, I just read your FH's post about your proposal and I got so teary eyed. That is so sweet. Erica, a few girls were talking about it in another thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread. Post it here if you want to, that is for you to do, not me. It is so sweet. I love it.

  18. Oooh, I love them both. I wonder if I can get away with half up. I really doubt it, but I want my hair to be a little more causal since I am wearing a veil and a head piece (the only chance in life I will ever get to wear either of these things, so I am wearing them both).

So, I will be wearing it all up. Just not sure exactly how yet.

The thing is I did not start buying things till last week, so I have 1 left (I would have given it away had I known) and I am only buying ribbon tonight. Seems like such a waste. I wish they were good for 1 more month.

Tonight I have plans and I have to go to Micheals before my 25% of entire purchase coupons expire at midnight tonight and I have plans to have dinner with my sister (home cooked, so I will eat well). Tomorrow I am going to the gym and Thursday I am meeting with a trainer, then I am off to the US for the long weekend. So, its kinda a bad week for me to start, but I can totally urge you guys on this week.
  24. Shelley, I still think you should try them both on again. Just see what you think and then decide which one you like more. Don't be swayed because of what people on here voted. We are all a bunch of smart women with good and honest opinions, but we are not the ones wearing the dress. So, just try them on again, before you order one of them.
