Jill will actually be staying at the resort, so I don't forsee them kicking her out. Thanks for your concern though. That's crazy! I'm also not much of a beach girl, which is one of the reasons why I loved the gazebos. I will pay attention to the beach to let you all know how maintained it is. I heard the sound system is really good, but I'll confirm that too. Thanks everyone and stay tuned! glad to hear how the photography item played out.. you landed with a great option.. can't wait to see and hear how wonderful everything turned out.. !

Also, she said that now that they are doing weddings on the hour all day long, that they are getting more strict about bringing in outside venders. In fact, at the wedding she attended, MP kicked out the photographer the couple had brought with them. do you happen to know the reason(s) behind the dismissal of the photographer? i.e. was the photographer from Mexico? Carolina (WC) and Natalie (WC asst.) mentioned that you can have an outside photographer as long as they are not from Mexico. Reminder for brides to communicate intentions & plans in advance. Get these particulars in writing and have documentation on hand to be sure you are covered.

We actually had to stop because we were out of light and didn't get some photos that I really wanted. Just my opinion. Use or toss. valerie.. about what time did the sunset on your wedding day?

(If you are already civilly married, please ask about our vow renewal packages). Although I'm not getting married at ASP, the MP & ASP have the same wedding package documentation. In one section with the reference to requirements for the free wedding package it reads, 'Ceremony cannot be performed unless all documents are in order (NO EXCEPTIONS)'. As the documentation doesn't specify whether they will or will not accommodate a non-civil/symbolic only ceremony, I suggest calling to verify their position. I also did not specifically ask the question as a non-civil ceremony wasn't my intention. It could be different at ASP, or I misinterpret the point they kept trying to stress. ~andrea
