Ann I hope you and everyone else knows that I'm only making jokes when I say that I am crashing. I've very sarcastic and sometimes I feel like everyone on the forum has known me forever and I forget that none of you have ever met me, nor do you even know what I look like. Sorry, the sarcasm is a NY thing. But seriously, I would sooner die than walk into anyone's wedding uninvited (I refuse to even go over people's home's unless I am directly invited by the host and not by a third person). Honestly I have such a serious job that I don't take life too seriously and that is why I am always joking that I am going to crash all your weddings. Haha! At another wedding I went to the MOH was annoyed that the BM's dresses were kiwi green. No lie they were like neon green. But anyway the MOH was mad so she went into the bridal suit and had sex with her BF all over the bride's envelope gifts. I don't need to get anymore graphic but you guys can imagine what happened to her envelopes when he finished. Girls here are such biatches! -Glenda

I didn't think it was possible to find so many nice girls! I mentioned early on when I joined that in NYC wedding planning is cut throat! It is like a grown up version of Sweet 16. Bunch of spoiled, rich brats who bitch about the most trivial things. (Nothing wrong with being spoiled or rich btw, I just hate when people are bratty about it). One of my friends was mad she wasn't asked to be a BM so she wore a poofy white dress to sabotage the bride!! I mean it is just dispicable here. I'm glad I found a group of nice girls who are just as happy to share their happy day with other brides. -Glenda

You know I alway wondered about this. If you have the reception by the pool will there be guests in the pool splashing around? I mean in all honesty I don't think it's fair to ruin other guests vacation and prevent them from enjoying any part of the grounds, but I was just wondering. This kind of stuff doesn't bother me b/c I'm pretty friendly and if someone came up to my wedding (even if they were weird) I would still welcome them and my motto is the more the merrier. I'm really going to go bankrupt!! When you do the sand ceremony is that included in your WC price or do you have to pay extra for that stuff? I swear it's the little crap that drives me crazy. Like in traditional weddings that take place at home, people buy unity candles, and the knife for the cake. That is so annoying to me! Uggh who wants to be bothered with those minute details. -Glenda

I know it's so annoying that you can't have a catholic ceremony on the beach. I mean after all they didn't even have churches at the time of Jesus in Jerusalem. They just went to a mountaintop and preached!!! It's all just a way to get money. I hope they let me do our private church ceremony, I think it will be romantic and spiritual. -Glenda

Oh if DD is overcharging then you should def just stick to Marilu. Uggh I am anxious for you, I want your date to be July 4, 2008! Hurry up Marilu!!! LOL. Anny this is the one aspect of my wedding that is giving me the most stress. My FI doesn't care for the church so he just wants to go to court and get it done quickly and the have our symbolic wedding in Mexico. But I want to get married by the church so we will probably do it before we go to Mexico. I don't know how it is in Mexico but here when you marry by the church the religious ceremony counts as a ceremony and then the priest and the bride and groom sign the marriage certificate and you are legally married as well. My problem is that I know my priest is not going to be happy with the fact that we are also getting married in Mexico. And all of his family and mines wants to come to the church b/c they are cheap and don't want to go Mexico. So this means we will have to have some kind of reception after the church and it will pretty much defeat the purpose of having a DW. So I'm going to see if the priest would be willing to marry us in a private church ceremony with just us and our witness. Basically if he says yes we are going to lie to our family and tell them we just got married legally in a court. This is the only solution I can think of. -Glenda
