  1. YOu may need to wait a little longer. We got all of our GM attire at Macy's. They had a huge selection, but we did not buy until the spring.
  2. I had mine altered w/o shoes. I wore flip flops during some parts of the reception, but for the most part, I was barefoot.

  4. I printed our return address on a clear label with cute font and placed them on the back flap.
  5. Mine took care of absolutly everything. Once someone booked, she would send me names and travel dates. She handled all payments and never bothered me with anything.

  7. Are the air filters new/clean? That has ALOT to do with dust! I hate dusting and cleaning period...argh!! I have those hand held swifters that I spray pledge on. They work but of course the dust comes back.
  8. Yes, there is always unexpected costs that sneak up along the way...lol! Your guest are going to be so excited to get a gift cert. that they can use while there!!
  9. WTF!? Something more appropriate?? Hummm.... I think those look great and are very appropriate for a DW. That's just my opinion. She's probably expecting a really formal intive to a church wedding - - that you will not be having.
  10. That's a good #. How much were you wanting to put in there? You don't have to answer, just wondering how much you thought you were going to have to spend on OOT bags. I think I spent around $25-$30 per bag and had like 22 bags to do. It adds up fast!
  11. OMG I hate back fat!!! I didn't have that issue with my dress, but I do with other things...argh!!!
  12. That's a great idea if you don't have a tons of people going. How many people do you have attending?
  13. It was very cool, Jason!! I bet they planned it We LOVED our view. We would look out and see all of our friends hanging all over the bar and we would yell down to them. Fun times!!
  14. WTG Leigh! That's awesome! Keep up the good work!!
  15. The doors are always open on the chapel, so I'm going to say no. They have windows in the front and back, so the air flows.

Can you request it semi-private? maybe move it down the beach a little? Thanks again for everything and all of your help! Lindsey Hey Lindsey - let me see if I can answer these questions for you. ~Yes, we used the resort photog. They did a great job for a "resort" photog. No, they are not "professionals", but they did exactly what we wanted, and we were completely happy with their work. We were not one to spend a ton of $$ on pics so they worked perfect for us! Here's some pics. share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8CYsmLRy3bsrI ~We had our reception outside at El Patio. We would not have done it any other way. It was the perfect setting by the beach! Here's a few pics. ~We stayed in the Jr. Suite with Ocean Front. Our TA suggested that room over the honeymoon suite, so we went w/ her suggestion. We LOVED LOVED our room!! Here's a view from it. ~We got married on the beach by the surf shop. I would say it was semi-private. It's off to the side of the hotel. The chapel is very lovely if you have a smaller wedding - - like 30 people or less. Hope this helps!

REEF > GUYS > FOOTWEAR > SANDALS
  18. We bought their shirts and pants for the wedding and an engraved decanter and 2 engraved glasses.
  19. I kept mine very short and sweet. Dear Family and Friends, The wait is finally over!! Welcome to sun, sand and relaxation....Welcome to Riviera Maya!! We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have our wedding here at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. We are especially honored that you have traveled this far to be a part of our marriage celebration. Enjoy the “goodies” included in this welcome bag. They are just a small token of our appreciation. Please make the most of your stay here in Riviera Maya. We hope the next few days will be as memorable for you, as it will be for us. With Love and Appreciation, Lisa & James
  20. I've always heard the return policy was ridulous there, but I honestly had no probs returning anything....and I returned tons of stuff. The only thing they made me do was print my registry and made sure the items I was returing was on there then they gave me store credit.
  21. Argh!! Thanks stinks!! My work monitors sites like myspace, facebook, yahoo and hotmail. I don't think they've caught on to me either. They did fire 2 guys last year for being on myspace all the time. Kinda scary!
