I ate some watermelone too - YUM! I think I'm going to weigh myself so I know where I start. Question abuut tomorrow...you know how they say try to stay away from dry beans, does that mean kidnee beans and chick peas...even canned ones?? I think the reason they say to stay away from beans, peas, and corn, is because those are considered starchy vegetables and will add more calories. I started this morning too, going good so far! I had soup for breakfast (because I knew I wouldn't be home at lunchtime so it was easier to bring fruit with me) I had a big bowl of fruit salad for lunch, an apple in the car this morning, and then some cherries in the car this afternoon. I just ate my dinner soup and I'm going to cut up a watermelon in a few minutes. I haven't really been hungry all day until now, now I'm starving! Between all of the water, black coffee, and soup I had today I have been in the bathroom every 10 minutes! Hope everyones day is going well, stick with it!

I know there are other brides that had a package and the photographer chose the prints to send them.

I'm excited but not haha it's very strict but if it works then it's all worth it! Oh yes, its a good thing!! We were very close when we worked together, since we were the only girls in our department and we sat right next to each other. She moved back to where she was from and I haven't talked to her probably in about a year or so now, it just catches me off guard when I see your pic My soup is cooking right now, it smells pretty good, I had to add more seasonings. I cut up my fruit too, so I'm ready to go!

I'm very excited too, I need to get back on track too

I just got the album that came with the package, I didn't order an additional one because I made my own. If I had thought of it prior to reserving her I would have asked for no album and no prints and just the pictures on disk with the rights to the pictures because I knew I was going to make my own album anyway, I really didn't need both. Anyway, the album that came with the package is just a standard album, nothing crazy, black, with a hole in the front for a picture, it has a pebbled leather feel too it, but I don't think its real leather (I could be wrong) each page holds two 4x6 pictures and there is a space next to each pic to write something. It's not a bad album, but I'm not sure what kind of album you want either, and this may not be it if you're looking for something more top of the line. One reason I liked making my own album was that I could pick my own pictures. They sent me the album with prints that they had picked out and some of them were not pictures I would have chosen. Okay, I think I've rambled enough, let me know if you have any other questions!

Monica, I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, but you look just like a girl I used to work with, her name is Colleen, everytime I see your picture I want to say hey colleen, how's it going??, and then I have to stop myself because you aren't her, lol!

The room is huge, the Red Sox were in the playoffs when we were down there and we had all of our friends up in our room one night to watch the game ( I think there was about 18 of us) and it wasn't crowded at all. There is a couch, 2 chairs I think, and a table with 4 chairs in the same area. So you would have plenty of room for all of you to get ready. We were on the second or third floor and had a beautiful view of the gazebo from our balcony.

I bought all of my stuff, just have to cut up some fruit and make my soup. I ate so bad this weekend, I'm actually looking forward to eating better and feeling empty.

do you guys have CVS in cali? I don't know what the prices are at CVS, but I always get coupons when I use my rewards card, so I'm planning to go and buy some other things I need first and get my coupons and then I figured I can combine them with the alli coupon and hopefully save close to $20. we'll see...

I started taking it last summer, so I could drop some weight to get a faster time in a triathlon, and I have taken it off and on ever since. It makes me more conscious of what I am eating, and helps me stay motivated because the results are truly amazing. These are my rules of thumb: 1. Take Vitamins 2. If you are having a high fat meal, don't take the pill. Wait until your next meal. 3. don't eat super late at night with the pill (My little spotting incident happened while sleeping). 4. For the love of god, don't go near peanut butter (my husband had an unpleasant result with this after eating 3 pb sandwiches). My esperience has been good, and I would highly recommend it. Sam's Club has the best prices... Now, excuse me while I go sit in a corner and get over my embarrasment... No need to be embarassed at all!! We all share too much information around here anyway and I'm sure all of the girls really appreciate the first hand feedback, I know I do, because you never know if the things you read on other websites are true or not. I think I am going to try alli, but I'm going to wait until I get back from vacation in a few weeks. For now I'll do the sacred heart diet and then when I get home it will be alli time.

I think thats what my problem was too, it didn't really give me cleavage, which is what I really wanted. -
It will be fun if we're all doing it together, we can talk about it here. I'm going to hold off on Alli for now, I wanted to do it too, but am scared.

I read a lot of posts on different forums about alli and it seems to be consistent that as long as you follow the 15 g of fat per meal rule, you are fine, its when you eat something you shouldn't that you have the problem. Also, I read that if you plan to eat a meal that you know is bad, don't take the pill with that meal. although that's sort of defeating the purpose of being on a diet, lol!

Congratulations girls!! We're so excited to have you with us!

I think when you deprive yourself of things, it just makes you want them more. Everything in moderation. Okay - like I could sit and eat a whole box of store bought cupcakes - Yeah - I could - that icing is like a drug for me! So I started making cupcakes out of a box mix - and guess what?? - I don't eat them. We have had 3 cupcakes left since the kids' party this past weekend and I haven't touched them. I sort of trick myself - I know crazy but true! BTW - I don't drink a LOT of diet coke - maybe 3 a week. I also dont drink coffee because if I have coffee, I have to have something sweet with it. So my Cuisinart Grind and Brew sits collecting dust. It's crazy how we do these things isn't it? I told FI last night about my diet and he says, "Honey - I know all of your girls (meaning you guys) are on diets for their weddings, but it's totally up to you. If you lose weight or not is up to you - I will love you regardless" I LOVE THAT GUY!! - He is SO a keeper! I LOVE the icing on the store bakery cupcakes, that's really the only part I like about cakes & cupcakes is the sweet frosting! I told my DH about the diet last night too, he said he's not doing it and if I start getting cranky, he's going to sabotage me with ben & jerry's, lol! Can you tell I get cranky a lot when I'm hungry?? Quote: Originally Posted by Dez921714 Awwwwe That's sooooo sweet My FI was like "cool! DH didn't have a lot to lose, maybe 15 pounds, but it just falls off of him and its all he talks about, how he's so skinny now and look at his abs, blah, blah, blah!! I'm happy for him, don't get me wrong, but I get so jealous that its so easy for him. I lost 20 pounds and have been pretty stuck in the same spot for weeks, it SUCKS! And I get so mad when he talks about his loss, I'm such a bad wife.

Some brides have indicated that it can be somewhat moist - even soggy - just don't want the topper to sink into the cake. Thoughts? 2. Do they decorate the cake by default, or are you just given a plain cake and it is up to you to specify all the decorations, such as flowers, etc? 3. For those of you who used Claudia Rodriguez's photography, did you meet with the photographer in the days before the wedding to discuss shots that you wanted, or did you do that the day of, or via email, or just go with the flow? Did you bring a list of shots? Thanks much - sorry we haven't been posting lately... Time's a flying !!! H&V as paula mentioned there is a cake file with pics that shows different options. Before I left for mexico, claudia set up a date and time for citlalli and her assistant to come to the resort and meet with me. I think it was the day after we got there, we talked about different shots and she showed me some albums, etc... If you mention to claudia that you'd like to meet with her beforehand, I'm sure that won't be a problem.

I don't remember off the top of my head how long he did it for, but he lost over 50 lbs...so...this will be my plan.... wow, 50 lbs is great! I just find that I get bored with the same diets, so if I mix them up that tends to work well for me. I do WW sometimes, sometimes I do atkins - no carbs, now I'm going to do this one too. I can do anything for a week! In this case, two weeks, because I'll be leaving on vaca.

I can't wait to start this! I leave for vacation in two weeks, it would be so nice to drop a big amount of pounds before we leave, then I can buy a new bathing suit!

I was thinking about taking alli too, but am scared. I decided that on monday I'm starting the sacred heart diet because a big loss is what I need to remotivate myself. Lately I've been so stuck on back and forth between the same few pounds that I can't stay motivated, so if I do the sacred heart thing for a week or two I think that will get me remotivated. at least I hope so...

I'm going to try it too! gotta go to the store!

there were 5 girls on the news this morning that were involved in that accident. I guess they were on a snorkeling trip, a few students went downstairs and said the boat was filling up with water. From what the students said the crew jumped in a life boat and took off, left the students to fend for themselves. Some of the students said they almost got run over by boats, they also said they saw the dead girl floating. It was so sad.
