Hi all!

 

Long time since I've been on the forum. We just moved and were without the internet for 3 weeks (felt like forever). I can't believe how quick time is flying. The holidays will soon take over and shortly after we'll all beach on the beach!

 

I'm so excited...my dress came is being shipped to my new place and should be here early next week! It wasn't supposed to be arriving until late November. It's all feeling so real now! We're hopefully ordering our rings this weekend. Not much left to do!

Hey ladies,

I feel like I got a lot accomplished. I was freaking out because of the Dreams Tulum Closure issue and felt like I needed to get things done that I had control over. I went to target and bought $1 sunscreen, chap stick with sunscreen, pepto, tums and bandaids for our beach bags. I have our welcome letter started, just have to fill in the blanks here and there. Our invites should go out by the end of next week! Now my next big project is getting our rings ordered and finding the groomsmen something to wear but that should be easy. Of course, there are probably a million other things I should be doing but don't know yet.

So I just finally got my BM gifts which was one of the things that was weighing very heavily on me because up until today I had no clue what I was going to get them. I wanted to get everyone the same thing but with 6 people in my wedding party ranging from 13 (my niece) to 29 years old that was going to be a tall order....I got them all these Helen Ficalora charm necklaces with their initials on them. So slowly, slowly I will shrink this list over the next two weeks...I need to get cracking on welcome letters and the like though...but progress is progress, right?

Hey ladies! It's been forever since I've been on here, but being busy at work has really cut into my BDW time...bummer! Anyways, I haven't done much in the last little while in terms of planning, but I now know I have to be in full gear until January to get everything done.

 

Most exciting news is that I finally picked up my dress and apart from a slight alteration it is perfect! Yeah!!! Once its altered I'll post pic with me in it!

 

My next to do- GM shirts, my shoes, my underthings for the dress and the rings! I'm starting to get so excited....anyone else?

It's been a while since I've been on but I FINALLY got my dress!!! We think we found his outfit as well but haven't purchased it yet.

 

What are your FI's wearing? We found some good stuff at Tommy Bahama over the weekend that would work. He wants to be comfortable and insists on being casual since we're getting married on the beach. We originally thought he'd wear dressy kaki shorts and a white, beachy, button up shirt but now think the white shirt and white of my dress would clash. Any thoughts? Now we're considering a lighter color for the shirt. Who knew his outfit would be causing this much discussion!! smile35.gif

 

Next I need to get my OOT bags done and buy his ring. Finally- it's all coming together!! It's all so real now! We're really getting married!!!! In less than 3 months! Can't wait!!!smile29.gif

My FI is wearing tan pants and a Tommy Bahama shirt "Rialto" in white. He has the pants and the shirt is on order. The GM is wearing the same, except a different colour shirt. I still need to find a dress for my MOH so as soon as that is picked, we'll order the same colour for the GM shirt.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
