well, it's a real store, we have one sort of near us in a city called auburn. so i dont think they're official knock-offs, but you never know. they sell clothes, but it's sort of the type of store like a Deb or Rave, not sure if anyone knows what they are, but cheap and tacky wink.gif so she was really surprised that she found a dress there, and she actually loved it. she is a really picky girl and she only shops at places like gap and jcrew, so for her to be impressed is good!

Hi All,

Has anyone heard of Brides Against Breast Cancer? Brides donate their used dresses and the organization resells them at steep discounts--all the $ goes to fight breast cancer. A friend of mine donated her dress which was a gorgeous, designer and very expensive dress. She went to the sale to donate the her dress and said they had a great selection at great prices. Problem is, sales are only in select cities on select dates. There aren't any in my area before my wedding :-( Wish they did it online too!

By far the lowest price for my dress however it was suppose to take 12-14 weeks for delivery. Towards the end of the 14th week my order status had not changed on their website. They gave me some run around story and it wasn't until I emailed several more times that they shipped it and I rec'd the dress at the end of the 15th week in a very tiny box. So in the end I got my dress for a great price- just a little more stress than I wanted to go through for my dress.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
