CD favor - Labels?

Recommended Posts

Did anyone do a CD as a favor?

If so, do you have a template of the Label?

I really want to do this and want to make the labels on my own just

don't know where to start and I am thinking that a template will help!

Thanks.

I haven't made a CD label in awhile, but back when I used to (pre Ipod), I would buy the sticker paper and it would come with instructions on how to download the template. And then I had a plastic thing-a-ma-jig which I would put the sticker on, and the CD on and then smoosh. It made sure the label went on perfectly everytime. Basically it's this thing... We're doing CD's, but my FI has a CD burner that has Lightscribe - basically it engraves the CD's. I think most of the new HP computers come with it standard, so if you know someone with an HP, they might have it. We bought CD's in red and blue (our colors are red and aqua) and inscribed a cool Jamaican cartoony pic onto the CD's with our wedding date. I love them! I'll take a pic later and post for you...

Sorry I haven't gotten the camera out... I will do this in the next day or so to show you what they look like. I love them! They take a little while to do, but they look great :) I think you can buy the Lightscribe CD burners, but I have no idea how much they cost...

You can buy one the CD engravers separately. I think they are like $50-80 depending on what type you buy. I just seen them somewhere, but of course can't think of where at the moment. My friend did CD favors. I'll have to take a picture of it to post. They got those clim cd cases and just printed out a label with the songs on the back of the case. On the CD itself it said Songs we love, their names and wedding date with a picture. That showed through the clear front. It was really cute. She gift wrapped them all in brown wrapping paper with a bow and had them in a basket where the name cards were.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
