    Thanks for helping! Just seems ridiculous to have to pay for something just to sit together for such a small group. I emailed my WC and we are having our semi-private reception at Maria Marie as well. Thanks again!

      Jess and all the other ladies that are going through this mess- I am so sorry to hear all this, it is RIDICULOUS. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and then to have to deal with this is completely unacceptable. My mother is a lawyer, so let me know if you need her to make some phone calls and help you out!

       

      I also wanted to tell you that I have a WONDERFUL TA. Please email me or PM for her info. She is with a rather large company and lots of brides have been very satisifed with their services. I would be happy to share this info. for you if you need help with honeymoon planning, etc.

       

      As far as the TAs coming on here from SSV, I don't think i am alone in saying this, but we don't care to hear your explanations. It is obvious that you have really screwed up with more than one bride on here. Trust me, after hearing all of these horrible situations that you have put them in, I don't think anyone is interested in using your terrible services.

       

      Please keep your heads up ladies! I'm sure in the end your wedding will be beautiful!

          How interesting! I did not see that in the video section. To reiterate, you do get a photographer and a videographer. I'm not sure if I want to use their photographer since I'm bringing one but as they say, if you don't use it, you lose it. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges when it comes to the packages.

            I agree, I personally don't care to hear reasons(excuses) why things went soo wrong because it should not have got to this point. Ladies I really hope that everything works out! You pay a little more to go with a TA for the assurance that when things like this happen you will be protected.

             

            Jess - you gave some great tips. I hope future brides ask all of those questions.

             

            Planning a wedding is stressful in itself! Royal PDC better keep the liquor flowing once we get down there after all of this stress :o)

                JYD1 - I know it sucks when things are included that you don't really want and wish you could exchange them for something like a massage :)

                However Lady Di had her own photog but plus also used the resort photographer. If you PM her she has photos to share. I thought they actually came out really good.

                      Me too!! Luckily I remembered this one!! =) I thought maybe I was just really tired and stressed!!

                       

                      Thanks jesmcan. I would so love to do that. LOL..... I may just use them both since I have technically paid for it. I just hope they don't get in the way of my photog - I am paying him more!!!

                       

                      So my drama is starting to be resolved. The only issue is that there's a concert booked using 4 out of the 6 ballrooms. I have 2 reserved. So all ballrooms are now taken for June 16th, 2011. Now we're just trying to find out what time it starts and what type of concert is it. If I can coincide when our music starts playing when they are then I'm hoping it shouldn't be too bad. We'll see. Not exactly thrilled but I can move up my ceremony time and cut the hour cocktail to 30mins depending on when they start.

                       

                      I totally thank my TA for being on top of it and being my voice - which worked out bc I probably would not been as polite.
