  1. It's funny. Not all of the links on their site works either. I clicked on the contact us and got a 404 error.
  2. spaterson is absolutely right. The MOH is in charge when the bride is not around. She needs to be the one calling the shots when the bride is not available, or can't make the decision. Talk to the MOH and end the problem. Of course, MOH can make a decision you won't like either, but let's hope that doesn't happen.
  3. Keep us posted, I am really curious if this will work out for you. I have a big scar on my leg that I want gone.
  4. Since you are having a destination wedding, not all of your guests will go. Those guests who cannot attend will go to your bridal shower instead where they will bring you your wedding gifts. I expect to get much nicer gifts since they're not spending money on attending the wedding any way.
  5. I would definitely send everyone an invite. It doesn't matter if they say they cannot come, it's worse to not be invited. Everyone I sent my announcements out to definitely are getting invites, even if they verbally tell me they cannot come.
  6. You don't have to buy many disposable cameras, maybe just a handful for a few select tables. I don't know about the scavenger hunt. People at your wedding should be there to watch you get married. When you introduce a scavenger hunt, it almost seems like work to me and people usually get enough of it Monday - Friday.
  7. We're looking online right now at these. So far it looks like http://www.larsonjewelers.com/ has the best deal. They offer a free lifetime warranty and sizing with their rings. We went to Kay's and a few other stores at the mall yesterday and they were just so expensize. Larson Jewelers has their prices so much better than the malls.
  8. I was looking through the Buy/Sell/Trade: Buy, Sell, Trade or Freebies! section here at BDW and there's some neat stuff. Of course since it's almost like craigslist, has anyone ever bought something here? Anything I should look out for?
  9. My maid of honor lives in another state also. We've actually been talking together almost daily on the phone giving each other status on what's going on and getting opinions on different things about the planning.
  10. I agree with clgriffi7, a nice watch would be great. Instead of a normal wristwatch, maybe you can get him a classic and stylish pocket watch. Something he can pull out and flip open.
  11. I'm recently engaged and I am in Binghamton, NY, just north of Scranton. If you brides are forming a meet up, let me know. I'd love to meet some of you.
  12. Talking to my brother, he says the one thing he would not do again was the formality. When I went to his wedding, it was beautiful and wonderful. He tells me though, now that I am planning mine, that his was too stuffy and proper. He's really pushing for a beach wedding for me and I'm leaning towards that direction. No tuxes and suits for mine.
