Las Caletas Brides ~ Post HERE! (THREAD CLOSED)

Ladies - only 2 1/2 weeks until we leave. Yippee! I was feeling very organized and had a conference call with Kelley yesterday to finalize everything. Now I feel even better. I am taking the day away from the office tomorrow to run a few errands (pick up our rings, my dress, etc). We are getting legally married this weekend so that piece will also be done ahead of time. I can't wait!!!! Welcome to Amy!

Ok, so for those that have had their wedding already....what package did you go with? I am debating whether I should go with the Paradise Package or Barefoot package. I think the only difference between them, other than price, is that you can go to LC on a private boat with the Paradise and with the Barefoot you take the boat with the tourist. Any input on what you ladies did would be appreciated.

I think it depends on how many guests you are going to have and what "bells and whistles" you want.

the barefoot package is only for 10 guests or less, sounds like reception time may not be included in that one

the Paradise only has open bar on board the boat and it says you have "access" to the bridal suite

premier has 7hour open bar, appetizers, reception, linens, basically everything you could want.

hope that helps a bit maybe? how many guests are you expecting?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
