Congrats to all of the noobies! This thread has been ongoing for so long and it is fun that it keeps on going on!

Westxgrly,

E-mailing WTIW won't be a problem at all. Tina tries to respond within 48 hours or you can try during your lunch break. Often the girls are in the office late, so feel free to give them a try!

Thanks Sherri.

Does anyone know if there is a time waiting period requirement for just doing a vow renewal? I am trying to see if it would be best to just do the "legal" stuff at home and then just do a ceremony in St. Thomas.

I thought I read on one of the St. Thomas Planners sites that there had to be a year waiting period.

Maybe I am calling it the wrong thing... since I wouldn't think that just a ceremony without any legalities.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Everyone,

I want to pass information along to any brides that are cruising to St. Thomas. Apparently, they do not adjust their clocks on the island like we do so your ship's arrival may actually be an hour later than you expect. For example, our ship's itinerary has us docking in St. Thomas at 10:00 am on the day of the wedding. It will actually be 11:00 am island time. As you can imagine this will really have me in a whirlwind to try to get my license and make my 1:30 ceremony. If you haven't checked it out, I suggest you ask your WC. Just wanted to pass this along.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
