it is most common for my couples to opt for a standard full day, 8 hours. given the time to get ready, ceremony, photos in between, and whatever reception or cocktail hour you choose, 8 hours can go quick :) It is also common to do a day after or TTD session, which is AMAZING!!! :D

Our photographer and videographer are coming to Samana from Punta Cana. I am not sure how long the trip is, but they will have to stay at the resort the night before the wedding and the night after. So they are there for getting ready, ceremony, group pictures, and we added on the reception too, plus TTD the next day!

Yes, a lot... it was also our priority though. So I am happy with the decision. :)

We booked our own photographer (Saab Weddings) for 4 hours, but our wedding package also includes a resort photographer. Using the resort option made me nervous since I wouldn't be able to see a portfolio of work ahead of time, so I'm glad we have Saab as our primary photo source. Another bride had a great idea for the resort photographers that are included, which was to have them get shots of all the guests so we can have them for a guestbook/scrapbook later. That's the new plan. Hopefully 4 hours with Saab will be enough! We're not planning a TTD.

We have three hours, 1 1/2 before the ceremony, then 1 1/2 during and after.  I think that'll be plenty for us and our family and guests.

I have started on one, but it is not finished... It might get you started though. This does not include TTD pics the next day.
