that's pretty amazing.  for anyone that watched the grammy's (Katy Perry's show) I am totally left shark and have very little dance skills.  It's a miracle I can even do zumba.  I kinda wish that the FI and I did something similar to it, but for me it would create so much extra stress that I'm not I could even handle it.  lol

I'm definitely nervous about it, but who wouldn't be? dancing in front of people, right? Maybe I'll feel better about it once we have the routine and start practicing. It's definitely different than social dancing because at least you know what's coming up, so you can't mess up that way. I'm afraid I'll lose my balance on a spin or something. We want to do it as soon as we walk into the reception because once I start drinking my spins are no good haha.

HAHAHA I love your left shark reference. That's adorable. I can dance, but sometimes i'm a bit of a clutz. My FI has zero dance skills at all.

@@TinkerSofi I'd loveeee to learn Salsa.

I loved the left shark BTW :) hahah. I think as long as you move your body and let the music take you you're ok ;)

Oh i totally have my off days too, where I can't follow any lead or I lose my balance really easily. I think it happens to everyone. You should take classes! it's fun. We started learning tango now too but we're not very good haha, we need to practice more and just don't have much time for it right now.

My fiance really wants to learn how to salsa. He's a pretty good partner dancer - his mom taught him in their kitchen when he was a little boy (old school ballroom, jive etc). That story totally got me when we first met...actually he told me as he was spinning me on the dance floor. Such a charmer lol! Now I'm just trying to find a good place to take salsa lessons in the city.  ;)

BrowWow & Eye lash extension services at Ritual Salon - Toronto.

I had so much fun yesterday.   I had a bit of a rough week so it was nice to get pampered.

Ritual salon offers a few different types of eye lash extension styles.  I initially wanted to do the bombshell style but glad I didn't.  I already had pretty full long eye lashes so I just went with the 'natural look' and it was more than enough for me.  It's fun and I'm totally doing it for the wedding.

I also had their BrowWow services which is basically tailoring for your brows.  They use a vegetable dye to tint the brows and then define their shape.  I'm still getting used to the more defined looked but I'm liking it more today now that it has toned down a bit.

Yay!  One more thing done.

The browWow service was $30 and eye lash extensions $100

Our welcome letter is finally done!  We  might translate these into Spanish- depending on our final numbers.

We love the papel picado look - so fun! :)

1) love the lashes

2) love the brows

3) love the welcome letter design and layout

Basically, love everything you've done. How are you doing? I hope you're feeling better and that the burn is healing nicely.

Love your planning thread! The dress is gorgeous and love the jewellery. I do not have an arty part of me so lucky we are doing the wedding with just the two of us.

Similarly my mom passed away a few years ago so between FI and I we only have one living parent who is horrid (FI's mom) so decided to go it alone. Glad in a way but also a little sad I couldn't talk to my mom about it. Any how....I ordered my dress yesterday....super excited!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
