Not Doing Oot Bags?

Recommended Posts

She's right, I got the 20 oz ones. and LOL I ended up bringing 44 down hahaha. I was that person. We got Option plus, plus spread them out between a few of our friends. I also bubble wrapped all of them with bubble wrap from home depot. Because I got so many of them, there was a discount - I think it was 15-20% off bulk orders. I liked ordering off the website as there were various colors to choose from. And the customer service was awesome. We ended up receiving 3 broken ones and they shipped out new ones, no problem the next day.

I never would have thought bubba's could break. Eek now I'm worried for my tumblers. I'm not bubble wrapping each individually as no room but I've used a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard in the suitcase.

You should be ok. It was only a few of them and it was close to the handle - sometimes stuff happens like that in shipping, but it was done by the UPS, not me. All should be good.

How excited are you?? It's coming fast!

Excited but annoyed. Communication was supposed to be faster once we get our personal WC and it's worse :( over a week to respond. Not sure what to do??? I heard a rumor I got a new one :(

That's annoying. I would lose my sh*t if It was a week and I hadn't heard from my wedding coordinator. But I know from reading a lot on this forums, that's normal for the one's who work on the resort? Though one would think as you get closer, it would be better communication.

I checked out your planning thread and wow!! Looks amazing. I can't wait to see pictures of how it all turned out :)

They are on site. I thought it got better but my experience is worse. And I have a feeling it's this certain coordinator. Debating emailing again or calling.

Thanks :) just finishing up some last stuff and will post it.

Legal booked for jan 10 :)

I have personally brought a Bubba with me all 4 times we stayed at an All Inclusive and it was the best thing I packed! However, we're looking like we are going to have 70-80 guests, so that is just not feasible! On the pre-trip information we send people I will suggest they bring one.

I do plan to do a room key/tip holder on a wrist coil for our guests - primarily because I always wish I had something to keep my tip money dry in the pool/beach but it will also help our guests identify other guests that are part of our wedding group (those they don't already know) when they run into each other. That *may* be the only favor we do, but we are hooking up transportation for some excursions and looking into a catamaran or sunset cruise for our guests as well. I agree with all the other posters that no one is going to have expectations or be disappointed if they don't get an OOT bag!

we are only doing them for our bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Not much in them, just beach bag, hangover kit, maybe sunglasses, beach ball, etc.   Other wise we are not doing them for the regular guests.  We have too many people and trying to save money.  instead we are getting maracas as favors for our wedding..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
