I was wondering if there is anyone else that will not be going OOT bags? I was just thinking of buying them each a Bubba for their arrival and marca's for their wedding favor. If this considered cheap? Do you think my guest will be disappointed? I'm not sure that I can afford to do full OOT Bags but I still want my guest to know how grateful I am that they are attending. TIA

If it's not in your budget- don't fret. Most of your guests will have never been to a DW and likely have no idea about 99% of the ideas we share here! They don't come expecting anything and your gesture of a bubba and maraca is super great and your guests will love it!!

I agree. Most people don't know the term OOT or what it entails.

Personally I think people would appreciate a bubba more than a bag full of travel items they probably packed anyways. Everyone loves bubbas!!

Bubba's weren't in our budget as we have 44 guests but I did get them tumblers. What I did was put stuff in the cups (Advil, tums, Pepto, hand sani, mentos, nail file, etc) with a little 'oh shit' kit card that thanked them for coming. This was our compromise. Hindsite I wish I would have only done bubbas and just budgeted for it.

Like the other brides said, most people won't go "expecting" a bag--it seems like a given since we're all so immersed in the site, but I don't see how anyone else would even know what an OOT bag was!  Personally I think I'd be thrilled with a super nice tumbler, so I say go for it!

@@rachelia160 Your probably right, the though had never crossed my mind until I found this site. And most of my guest have not left Canada so a Bubba with a nice note should be a nice suprise :)

@@Kayla88 Do you mind me asking what the deal with the Bubba tumblers are?  I've heard everyone raving about them--are they just really nice tumblers or is there something unique about them?

They are amazing. They hold drinks cold for up to 12 hours and hot drinks up to 6 hours. I like the ones I have because they are like a mug so they have a handle. It's all a preference thing.

I didn't do OOT bags. I decided to use my money to provide memorable experiences for the guests while they were in Cancun! It was the smartest decision I made!! First... you dont have to lug all of the bags and their goodies all the way to your destination and spend your precious time putting them together. Second, people are coming to your wedding to do things with you and would rather have a cool experience than some advil, pepto, and some chapstick! Most of the OOT items people bring for themselves when going on vacation-- and the rest of the items never get used.

I did a private Tequila tasting at our rehearsal dinner and chartered a catamaran for all our guests. Even if you choose to do a group dance lesson or an excursion or hire marriachi-- anything will be extra special and will provide lasting memories for you and your guests!

Hope this helps!

We did bubba's and I am SO happy we did - I debating filling our OOT bags to the brim and then thought the bubba's were more of a worthwhile investments for our guests as the husband I travel quite a bit and it's one of those things you don't realize how useful they are until you have one. :) Ordering them online was waaaaay cheaper off of the bubba kegs website and I got them sent to our PO box in the states.

However I ended up gettings bags off of bagiva. They were linen bags that were like a $1 each, so I ended up paying 30 bucks with taxes, shipping and what not. In our bags, we ended up putting the bubba, welcome book, and toys for the kids but that was about it. The feedback with just the bags and bubba's alone made me think they were so worthwhile.
