I will be 33 and my fiance will be 41 when we marry.  Second wedding for him and first for me.  Just took him 30 years to find me! :)

I will be 34 and my fiance will be 35. Most of my friends got married around 30-31 but most of his friends (both male and female friends) are still single and they are 36. I live in Chicago and city peeps definitely get married later. I grew up in a rural small town and people there get married in their early 20s.

To be fair, my fiance and I have been together since I was 25, but we just took our time getting to the marriage part!

I will be 43 and fiance 49 when we marry. 2nd marriage for both of us and we have been dating for 9.5 years.  Already feel like we are an old married couple.

I will be 34 and my fiance will be 38 (though one week shy of 39). Second marriage for me and a first for him.

Everyone's different, but what I've noticed is that those friends who got married at 30+ are still together. Those who got married younger (I was 25) are now divorced. I think a lot of it has to do with how we evolve as we get older - sometimes couples evolve together and sometimes not. .

I'll be 31, he'll be 35 when we get married. One big difference I've noticed is that if I had gotten married in my early to mid twenties, it would have been a huge expensive affair with a ballroom and big poofy dress and dozens of friends that I no longer keep in touch with. Getting married at an older age has given me time to get past all that "stuff". Now it's just our families and us and the wedding is costing less than the engagement ring.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
