You are so on the ball. I wasn't even thinking about table numbers and stuff. I don't know if I want to mess with that now to be honest. I might just get people to sit wherever. I wouldn't even know how to organize the seating.  awwwwww what to do? Maybe I can do place cards and just organize the seating that way. This way people are fighting over seats on the boat. At least then it's all laid out for them. I won't do table numbers I can just put names on cards and put them on the tables. What can I use to hold the name cards though? Something cheap and that won't take up no room cause to be honest I don't know if I have much room left.

2 weeks today and we leave (leave April 13th) and I still feel like I have so much to do. When do you fly out? @@pddcmc.

I'm only doing "special" table numbers because I'm going to have them as my "pop" of color. I didn't want to spend money on beautiful flowers that I won't even be able to enjoy very much afterwards.

We leave the 15th! I only have FOUR days of patient care left! WOOO HOOOO

So, have you started packing things? We still haven't... (mini-panic!)

My fear for you is on the boat placards would fly away or knock over. I wasn't on a boat and the wind knocked my frames over haha. It may be easier to do a seating chart but then if you don't do table numbers they wouldn't know which was which. Hmmmm let me think about it.

I hope mine don't get blown over. Was your reception on the beach? Ours is on the deck, so I am banking on the winds being a little more calm. I hope Maira (WC) will have something up her sleeve if it's too windy for my table numbers.

I am here on google now and pinterest trying to find ideas that are simple and cheap. And of course panicking at the same time..hahaha Why do I procrastinate so much?  I know you will probably come up with something. You have all the great ideas. No pressure....lol

Um. We STILL have a lot to do! My FI was working on the Welcome Letters on an adobe program (and this may be a little biased, but they looked FANTASTIC).. except his computer DIED. Just dead. done. zip. .... now he has to start all over! Oh, and does he have a shirt yet?? NO. AHHHHHH this wonderful man is going to give me a heart attack!

What about something like this? I pinned it ages ago, but am going with a different idea.

It's really similar to what @@Meandhim posted.

Do I sit family vs family? Do I sit the parents together and bridal party at their own table?

We are doing family tables and friend tables. I'm not having a big bridal party (MOH and Best Man) so that made it a little easier for seating arrangements.

wow! that deck is beautiful! :) but it does look like it would be a little windy, hopefully not enough to knock down the numbers.

Does anyone know that the etiquette is for seating people? Originally, I wanted to sit all the bridal party with us but then i felt bad for their dates, especially for one of my MOH's because he literally doesn't know anyone else. They're the only ones coming from Argentina but my MOH visited me here in Canada last year so she met my friends here. What to do?

I'm not entirely sure of etiquette, but I have seen it both ways - bridal party and B&G at a king table as well as sweetheart table and bridal party with their dates. My instinct would be to have your bridal party seated with their dates since a few of them don't know anyone else - that can be a little uncomfortable if the person is shy.

Needed: Creativity for Tags - please help!

post-277418-0-56895000-1427817082_thumb.jpg

I have a few wedding stamps and a seashell stamp, but I can't think of any particular design...

post-277418-0-90926900-1427817415_thumb.jpg

I guess I can just write "Plan to get a tan!" on the tags and use the seashell?

(...ya know, because the cup will be used while at the beach/pool and inside is the aloe &  lip balm (plus a few other things) ?)

Are both of these too plain?? Do you like either one better than the other? I'm losing creativity...

Matron of Honor dress (stock photo)

I was thinking about getting her some kind of bangle(s) to wear with it? I think the neckline is too high for a necklace and her ears aren't pierced anymore.

@ and @@veryvalentine

I bought 4 boxes of pepto at Target and they are perforated so all I had to do was separate them :)

All looks great!!

My reception was in a palapa (hut) and once they closed the drapes it was ok but the wind blew right thru it. Not all of them fell over but some did.

I sat the bridal party with us. I made sure that I sat their dates with either someone they knew or I made a party table. You can use your instinct on who would get along :) also remember they will meet before the wedding too so have time to get to know eachother. We had no issues whatsoever and it's just to eat then people move around. After dinner no one sat at the head table.

& anyone/everyone else:

Please help! I am running out of creativity here. I have NO idea what to do with these tags. I'm not too big on either "design." The one on the right may be cuter if I had prettier handwriting... the one on the left still seems a little plain?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
