Hello future brides!! I've been reading all your posts, comments and reviews for months now! (I was engaged last April 2013) BUT My fiance and I were not ready yet to begin planning because of other great things happening in our lifes: house, new job, etc.

 

NOW, we are ready! And I'm super duper excited to get started!!

 

We always knew we would have a destination wedding so back when I was first engaged, I started to look up resorts...

 

I came across the Royalton White Sands in Montego Bay. It just opened this November 2014.

 

Well, we took a chance and booked our wedding despite them not being opened for that long! My date: November 17, 2014. YAY! :)

 

Anyways, enough about me - the whole point is I can't find ANYTHING on this website for the Royalton White Sands SO I thought I would post what I have so far from the wedding planner in case any other brides need more info!

Hi! I am also considering this resort for my wedding in April 2014. It seems really beautiful but I am concerned about some of the reviews on trip advisor. Hopefully they will iron out the kinks before our weddings! How did you get the contact information for the wedding planner? I can't seem to find any information on their website... any other info. you have would be greatly appreciated :)  I am also having trouble viewing your attachments could you send them via email? Congrats on your engagement!

Originally we wanted to do Iberostar Grand Rose but our travel agent showed us RWS and we've sort of fallen in love with it, despite the reviews on Trip Advisor. Fingers crossed everything will be running smoothly by the time we go there for our wedding (all the way in May 2015, can't believe they're booking that far ahead!)

Hi mysticjade! My fiance and I fell in love with it too! The past week the reviews have been REALLY bad :S yikes but my fiance keeps telling me to calm down lol and that it's just new! I'm sure everything will be figured out by the time we arrive (our wedding is November 17th, 2014)....

Yes, my FI is the same, he’s encouraging a positive attitude! Our families think RWS looks amazing too and honestly a lot of the bad reviews are regarding things that aren’t life-ruining or horrendous, they’re just inconveniences that require a bit of patience and perspective. Still quite excited! Would love to hear more about your planning process and experience with the resort!

I am getting married at RWS on July 10, 2014.  I love the look of everything, but geez they want to nickel and dime you for EVERY LITTLE THING!!! I am almost wishing I would have chosen a different resort.  We are having a small ceremony and then having a big reception when we get back to North Carolina....so their packages aren't really for us.  We are doing everything in addition to the "LOVE" package.  I was wondering if you would send me the links that you posted.  It would really help me feel out this document that I have to send back to the wedding planner.  She only sent me their wedding guide and the policies.  I can't answer all of the other questions without the event guide and such.  If you would send them all to me, I would REALLY appreciate it! echerda@@gmail.com is my email! Happy planning!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
