2014 Brides- What Decorations Are You Bringing

Recommended Posts

I'm also going to have beach wedding in the October month and I'm having some ideas regarding this. First of all choose a theme and hire a professional caterer for decorations.

I have thought to arrange the table centerpieces around the beach along with lantern or, candle light. But also be aware of weather and arrange according it.

I'm doing the basic package for my wedding, I don't want to spend a fortune since I'm doing an AHR as well and focusing all my decorations on that.  I am planning on bringing place cards and holders and table numbers, favors, and OOT bags and that's it.

Just wondering if the resorts will set up whatever you bring?  Looks like chair sashes are cheap!  But wouldn't the resort rather you spend the $5 per chair?

Are they really cool enough to set up your stuff for you?  I already feel nickle and dimed!

All I plan on bringing as far as decorations for our ceremony are sheer colored fabric (otherwise the resort provided ones are just white) and some arrangement of fake flowers, all for the bamboo arch. Any other ideas on decorating our arch?

I'm not getting married until 2015, but I would love to see pictures of how all your decor worked out. The more the better!

Now Jade is around the top of my list so more information about how the resort did with set up, extra charges, and pictures would be great from all the Now Jade ladies on this thread!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
