anudrm - the dress is GORGEOUS!!! Going to have quite the impact.

 

As for your google just stay away from things like YOUR & FI's names Wedding, wedding date, destiantion etc in lots of posts.  We had problems because our wedding website is www.mywedding.com/mynamehisname and people typed that into google.  Well any posts that had "Tori and Wedding" in them came up! OOPS why couldnt people just type the URL in the right bar!!!!

 

I think you should be fine :)

Hopefully I did this right, but here is my dress!! I can't wait to wear it!

I went to my first fitting yesterday and the dress fits better than I expected.  I can't wait to finally get to wear it, only 2 more months until my wedding.  Getting excited!!!

Thank you Pucca, I get to try it on in exactly 2 weeks.  I will take pictures and post it also.  I also love the color, so un-traditional & that is how I view our wedding.

It is indeed designed off her dress. I wanted something different, I had first picked an Alfred Angelo gown, one of his color dresses, which would have had the charcoal underlining.  I was never a huge fan of R.H.O.A., yet after her wedding I had read so many different things about the dress, people hated it, people loved it.  So when the rerun came on, I just so happened to be on the phone with my MOH and there it was. I loved it!!!!! So in a sense the dress found me vs me saying yes to the dress.  He did a wonderful job recreating it!!!!


Thanks Coconoir (my MOH name is Chanel & I call her CoCo, LOL).....I already told him that I had business lined up for him after my wedding & he was like wow, thank you.  After my fitting, he will take pics and update his website.  He also does window treatments, yet he says he loves wedding gowns! He is so talented and I never asked anyone else to make the dress. He was the only person that popped in my head when I saw that dress.

 

What tops it off is my mother loves it!!! I know you ladies understand the feeling when your mom says it is beautiful and that it will look even more beautiful on you!! That made me tear up a bit.  I was smiling all day yesterday, that's the first time I saw the gown.

        That is so unique! You are so lucky to know someone that talented. I would hope that your dress would remain safe on here since every girl on BDW is so sweet and amazing!

      Speaking of which, thank you everyone for your comments! It's such a busy, unique, textured dress, and I was getting nervous after not having seen it for so long. Thanks to your generous comments, I am now super excited again! There is nothing like being in love with your dress. I can't wait for FI to see it. :)

Thank you Allie & JWed12....he is truly talented and it came out WAY better than I ever expected.  I am so in love with it and have not seen it in person yet.  I know I am going to cry when I get to try it on!! Thank you ladies for the wonderful compliments.  It is different, daring, unique and all of that other great stuff!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
