Is anyone doing a boudoir shoot? Mines scheduled for 4/13. I am getting so nervous! I'm going to meet the photographers for a consultation on Tuesday so hopefully that will put me more at ease! I've talked to some girls that have already done it and they say it was amazing and they are so happy they did it! I just just so not "me"! I don't know how to 'look' sexy! Haha! I hope they can help me out with that... I'm sure a few glasses of wine will help as well! On another note, my bridal shower is this Saturday! Exciting! 71 day countdown!! :-)
How did your bridal shower go??? :)

We had a "get things done" Sunday all around! My mom went to pick out and pick up our personalized jar candles for the welcome bags (from my fav candle shop in COlorado)...FI tried on his suit after alterations and it is a go! We ordered the final contents for the welcome bags (sunglasses for ladies and guys and for the little groomsmen, rest of meds, etc)....We ordered all the groomsmen ties, FI's ring...picked out my band to be ordered today...finalized favor flavors for the truffles....finalized excursions and costs.  After all the dress drama i had, my mom and younger sister helped me decide to keep the originial one i picked and have it altered sooner rather than later so I will feel better about it!

FI said "Yeah now we can just relax for two months." I was like Ummmm no...we did get a bunch done but I still have a lot to do!

Which brings me to ask....did any of you ladies order your jewelry from etsy?  Or have another recommendation to look?

How about a veil? Will you wear one since its a beach wedding?

Or a Flower?

This week I have to get my undergarments, jewelry, put together the survival kits for easier packing and unloading, finalize with the preacher and script, and work on this bouquet some more!

Hope you all are having a great Monday!

Thank You for asking Megan! It went amazing! It was everything I could have hoped for. We had it at a cute little tea house in Fort Mill called Savannah's. I have the best friends, mother and sister :-) All of my family besides my mom and sister live in NY so I really did miss having aunts, cousins, grandmas, etc there but oh well! That's one drawback about living so far away from family ;(

It feels so good to check things off the list, doesn't it!?

I actually got my jewelry from Khols. I was surprised to find it there, but they have some nice things.

I am not wearing a veil, I'm opting for a feather/flower type thing.

I had a minor moment of terror about what I still need to get done when my computer stopped working (and my FI doesn't have Windows on his, so annoying) so instead of doing "things" this weekend I made a comprehensive list, broken down into OOT Bags, Ceremony, Reception and Others.  I listed everything that I could think of with in each category, what is already completed, what still needs to be completed and what needs to still be bought. As I type this out I think I need to add another category, Attire. What led to my little freak out was that I looked at a calendar and saw that between now and when we leave we only have 2-3 free weekends to get stuff done which is crazy!

My sister flies in from San Diego this week, I have a few days off and plan to complete a lot on my list with my sisters and mom and have my shower on Sunday. Also going out for dinner with a bunch of my friends on Friday for a mini-bach party since my sister is home (some of my friends are throwing me something else in early June too).

I think there are about 80 more days until I leave woohoo!!!!

I'm so glad it went well! :) I know what you mean- my parents and most of my sisters live in NJ and my other sister lives in ATL. We are acttually having the shower at the resort bc so many ppl are already traveling and to have a shower here would mean even more traveling for everyone except me and my MIL.

Everyone sounds like they had productive wedding planning weekends!! I actually took a small break from wedding stuff over the weekend and enjoyed actually just "hang out" with my fiancé and our little boy. It was glorious! First thing this morning I was ready to get back at it, though! I competed a couple projects and lists, and most of the ordering and buying is over. I just wanted to share a couple projects I did this morning. When I access BDW from my phone I can only upload one pic at a time so here is the first thing- These are postcards that will go in the OOT bag: 400

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
