It looks like I've got almost everything done for shopping...which was a ton of fun, so I'm sad to see that one end, but oh well. My wallet will NOT be sad, lol.

I'm putting the OOT bags together now that I have all the stuff. I'm also working on a new project: a "Who's Who of This Wedding Crew" yearbook for all 90 guests. It's fun! I'm putting in a couple pictures of each guest, if it's a couple, I'm also including their wedding photo and date of their wedding. Then a fun fact about each person. My fiance is a bit of a comedian, so he's having fun with the facts about his friends.

Also, for all of the mid-June brides, my dad just informed me that the day after our wedding is Father's Day (our wedding is June 15th)!!! How special is that?!!!! So now I'm trying to think of ways to incorporate a Father's day gift or aknowledgement for all the dads that will be there.

I'm floating b/c it's officially almost two months away now that we've hit April. WOO-HOO

I'm so glad that it was what you were looking for! :)

Here are a few pics of how I organized the printouts into a Wedding Planning Notebook

3. Attire

4. Rehearsal Dinner

Along the top I have the main dividers divided into sub categories such as decorations, contracts, etc. This notebook has been so helpful and makes me feel so organized!

For anyone else that is interested, here is the link again for the printouts:

Hi Ladies!

Today I have finally started with our OOT bags!  FI is being so helpful!  Here's mint and lip balm I have ordered.  I used the same designed so they will match (will have to buy the mint separately):

http://www.pricewisefavors.com/wedding-favors-by-theme/beach-wedding-favors/personalized-lip-balm-p-864.html

We have 44 guests so I have ordered 55 of each to be safe.  I'm looking for ideas for the personalized tote bags.  I really like canvas and I will need about 36 (1 per couple and 1 per single traveler).  Please let me know what you have used for that.

For Mexican Brides:

- we wanted to include a small bottle of tequila in the OOT.  What would you do:  1) buy it in mexico 2) buy empty bottles in the US, use personalized labels and fill them with tequila in Mexico?

- are you bringing tylenol, tums, alka-seltzer, etc for the OOT with you or are you buying it in Mexico.  I don't want to "smuggle" drugs into the country and be fined!  Any advice on this?

Cute idea for mexican brides:

-I'm waiting to hear from my WC, but I would like to order Mexican Wedding Cookies and add them to the OOT with a cute wrap.

For all brides:

- Is anyone including Sudoku or any games in the bags?  I can't find them online to buy in bulk.  Any suggestions?

Other items I am considering:  Maps, hand-sanitizer, shot glasses, door hangers, Spanish 101, etc.

Thanks everyone!!

Hi! I am using canvas tote bags for my guests. I didnt get a personalized one with our names because i really wanted everyone to use them again....but the site i ordered from has both types...I used weddingchicks.com CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

THese are the ones I ordered, but they even have Mexico themed/Spanish ones as well. If you sign up for their emails, you might get a coupon to use towards the purchase too.

Also i was having trouble finding the soduku books as well. I know our dollertree had crossword puzzles...but that didnt seem as fun! Let me know if you find a place.

Is anyone doing a boudoir shoot? Mines scheduled for 4/13. I am getting so nervous! I'm going to meet the photographers for a consultation on Tuesday so hopefully that will put me more at ease! I've talked to some girls that have already done it and they say it was amazing and they are so happy they did it! I just just so not "me"! I don't know how to 'look' sexy! Haha! I hope they can help me out with that... I'm sure a few glasses of wine will help as well!

On another note, my bridal shower is this Saturday! Exciting! 71 day countdown!! :-)

I'm toying with the idea but it would definitely have to be more of an "artistic" shoot since I'm the fattest I've ever been! Lol! (Thanks babe for proposing now instead of when I was skinny! Lol) Let me know how it goes!

I love it!  Thank you so much for suggesting the site.  They have a few bags on sale for $100 (sets of 20) and a couple of designs could work for us!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
