I am working with them. My initial TA was not right for me. I escalated and my TA has been amazing.

Ya I was actually thinking of checking out destinationweddings.com, I think they are more of a wedding planner type travel agency. I read a bit about them so I think Ill check it out

I'm with you! We are planning a January 2014 wedding and are almost engaged. The ring is bought, and making its way to my finger :)

While I love being able to get a head start - I am even more thankful that my better half is all the way on board with a DW. I love all this planning and crafting that I have planned. Pinterest is also amazing.

If I could do my early adult life over - I'd become a wedding planner lol.

I am doing it over and becoming a wedding planner and travel agent. Like a crazy I am in school for both at the same time, while planning my own wedding (a bit much at once) but I want to offer a one stop shop for DW brides :-) and Pinterest is too afflicting, remember use the hidden boards for your event details. I have 3 "wants" "inquiries" and "sign sealed delivered"

I did just set up my hidden boards - great minds think alike! I have a friend who said they saw my ideas on Pinterest and then started going into why I shouldn't use Pinterest for anything. I decided the hidden boards would keep the outside opinions to a minimum :)

That's exactly why I LOVE the hidden boards! I can keep organized visually and keep the options out and elements of surprise in!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
