2013 Paradisus Palma Real

Recommended Posts

Hi! My PPR wedding is scheduled for July 2013. We are excited about the resort. Does anyone know the difference between Olympus Beach and Olympus Terrace? The photo on Picasso web titled "Olympus Terrace" is a photo of a beach reception and I've seen photos of other receptions on a paved terrace called "Olympus Terrace." Past brides please help!

I think the photographer fee is something new for 2012.  It's not in the calculator by your wedding planner should make you aware of it.

I did a site visit in March for my wedding this November...Olympus Terrace is next to the pool on a paved surface.  Very nice location if you don't want it on the beach :)  Let me know if you have any more questions...

Hey DP1 the $1,000 charge is in writing. It's not on the calculator but it's in the packet the Romance Planner sent me. I also outright asked her (Lauren) because I still didn't believe it after I saw it and she confirmed it. For me, it's the only thing I didn't like about Paradius. Photography is so important to me so I'm planning on paying the fee. I think you can avoid it of the photographer is a guest. Another photographer said they stay for one night as a guest to get around the fee. Not sure if that trick will work but it's worth a shot. Even if the photographer stood for the minimum 3 days it's still slightly cheaper than the $1,000.

EVKnowsitall.. our wedding is in June 2013.. My mom actually told me that it doesnt make sense to make a site visit,  Since my family is from DR i wanted to visit them and drive out to the resort and check things out. I would like to have my ceremony at the  Nuestra Señora de Pilar catholic church and then have the reception at the resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
