Sorry, I phrased that wrong. I meant did you have to pay $80 per each vendor meaning if you have a DJ, Rashel, etc. They can't work out a deal? If you aren't sure, how about other brides who also dealt with this.

Yes, you have to pay $80 per vendor so if you have rashel and her assistant plus a DJ you would be paying $240. There is no way around this; I was thinking our vendors could just walk onto the resort but they get stopped at the front by security. We asked our wedding coordinator if she could do better on the price and she wouldn't budge. With that added cost hair and make up was very expensive! I did like my hair but I felt for me my make up was too much, Rashel did a great job and my make up was flawless all night but since I don't wear alot of make up I didn't really feel like me......

Thanks for the information. I realized there was a vendor fee, but I didn't realize it was per person. This is going to be very expensive especially when you think about the photographer, DJ, and Rashel and her assistant. That is $320 dollars. I don't wear make-up at all unless i'm doing something special (maybe once a month, if that) so I was worried about that.

We are laving in less then 2 weeks to be married and we just got our cost synopsis back. For those of you that hav already gotten married and used the steel drum band, was it worth it? We are trying to cut our cost down a bit and are contemplating having them or not.......did they play for the full hr? Did your guest enjoy them?

I didn't think the steel band was worth the $. We had a DJ & the fire show ,limbo & bamboo dancers and were quite impressed with those services. WORTH EVERY PENNY! But the steel band wasn't. You can choose your own music so why not do that. Through your ipod.!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
