Maybe something just a little different for programs!! Maybe you can have water bottles and instead of "programs" have the "program" on the water bottle label instead of the personalized monogramed water bottle wrappers.

good morning, fellow brides...

THANKS for the input..you guys have helped me tremendously...i'm pretty sure i'm going to go the traditional route..now i just have to design the darn thing...woo hoo!

ok, so for today's post...i'm doing custom confetti...yes, ladies, confetti...and it has to be custom because EVERYTHING must coordinate...  so, with the help of martha stewart's seahorse and sand dollar punches and her genius heart punch..i've started punching out confetti...each guest will have a vellum envelope full of confetti on their seat at the wedding...to shower us after we're announced as husband and wife...take a peak!!

this is yet another inexpensive way to customize the wedding...as always, until next time, happy planning!!!

hmm, that's an idea...

however, i'm skeptical of having water bottles during the ceremony though...afraid guests would be caught in photos mid-swig... huh.gif

Hi!  I'm not sure that we've met yet ; )

I started reading your thread last night, and when i got to the part about your stuff appearing on Google, I freaked out a little bit and called it a night!  I agree with Tori...I love these traditional programs.  How the heck did you make that beautiful bow...is it a separate attachment, or did you wrap it around and tie it like that?  I would like to make some barrettes for the flower girls using bows like that!

i need some help...i'm going back and forth about my program..should i go the passport route or should i do something a bit more traditional...

plus the passport is ALOT of work..initially i was going to do a single 8.5 x 11.5 sheet of paper doublesided but then i wasn't really 'in love' with the concept..plus i feel like its so 'destination wedding' and i didn't want to keep doing the 'norm'...so here's a mockup of a program, i'm thinking i may incorporate into my stationery suite.

i need ya'lls opinion...passport program or more 'traditional' program?

please share your thoughts, suggestions, recommendations, etc..i could really use the help...

oh and here's another 'taste' at what's included w/my stationery suite...hope ya'll like it.  cheesy.gif

good evening, MJKH...

i DIY everything myself...except beads...but all bows, etc are hand-tied...the bow that you see in the pic is a double knotted bow..i've been perfecting bows for years...ya'll oughta see my Xmas giftwrapping..my kids are like, for real?  mom, you should REALLY go into business..but i don't...instead i do stuff for 'us'...

this whole planning process has allowed me to tap into my creative side..thanks to ideas found online and the things that i think are pretty...or elegant..or simply beautiful for a wedding...yet simple enough to DIY..

thanks for the input on the program...i'm pretty sure i'm going to go the traditional route..and i can't wait to unveil what i come up with.

welcome to the forum and i hope my thread can be inspiring and helpful...let me know if i can be of any help.

as always, happy planning!!

Second of all... your projects are amazing - as you've been told and I have high respect for a fellow detailed oriented bride, I share your "type A" if you will, meant in the kindest possible way

Third of all... if I could quote every single picture I loved I'd probably win an award for the longest post EVER. So I'll focus on these lovelies below.  I found this starfish punch in Michaels the other day and purchased it with intentions of doing exactly below for my AHR.  Best part of being a DIY'er with an AHR I get to design two parties with different feels to them...

Congrats on all of it and like everyone else... I can't wait to see what tomorrow's post will bring :)

passionsarcasm...

you're so kind...

i'm loving this entire process...and i'm up EARLY working on more DIY projects...i'm cutting and pasting and putting it altogether.

if you head to michaels, be sure to go online and print off the coupon..this week there's a 40% off any regular item coupon AND if you have multiple locations in your area..head to ALL of them and use that bad boy for amazing savings!!!  if you don't have a home printer...make a note of the coupon's barcode and give that to the cashier to take advantage of the savings!!!

until next time, happy planning!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
