Newbie...I am thinking Turks and Caicos!!!

Hey Everyone,

 

My new fiance and I just got back from a trip to Turks and Caicos and are thinking of going back for our wedding.  We stayed at the Gansevoort and loved it.  We are looking there and are open to other hotels as well, possibly Somerset???  We will probably have around 60 people or so. 

 

I am looking at hotels and have a good handle on that.  Before I decide on the island though, I wanted to find out more about local vendors to see if this would work.  I am wondering if anyone knows anything about local florists, rental company's, photographers, etc.

 

Any information or thoughts would be appreciated!!!

You can check the Islands section for threads on the T&C that involve resorts other than Beaches.   There are 2 florists on island.  Environmental Arts and the Flower Girl.  We have found Brides in the past few years almost always choose Environmental Arts as they offer a wider variety and more modern approach to their work.  There are 3 wedding planners on island:  Diane from Island Harmony (she's the owner), Teresa from Tropical Destination Management (also the owner), and Nila Destinations (the owners here hire workers who do the planning).  I don't know what you want to rent, we don't necessarily have a everything rental company and depending on what you want will depend on who to recommend but usually the hotel can sort those things out for you.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
