Planning is going good so far.  Trying to decide what I should buy now, and what I should wait for.  We are booked for Dreams Tulum.  I am getting excited for OOT bags but NEED to keep it budget friendly.  I NEED to get the ball rolling on some STD's!  And make a final decision on a travel agent.  How is your planning going?

We are torn between the Dreams Riviera Cancun and the Barcleo Palace.  We had the palace but some things came up that I am trying to work out, and I am trying to make a decision ASAP.  I have bought some OOT stuff here and on ebay and gotten some good deals which is super important since we are on a tight budget.  I am working on STD's that I will send out when things are finalized.  I have also designed my passport invites and I have had a lot of fun thinking up DIY  stuff but trying to stay in the budget.

How long are you going for? We are thinking around 2 weeks, we want to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation with our daughter after the wedding is done.

Hello to All! Im a 2013 June Bride for Cabo San Lucas and I cannot wait! It was such a blessing to find this forum. I have been to Cabo once and it is amazing. My fiance and I were originally going to have a huge wedding in the south since Iam the first to get married and he is as well on 5/19/2012. It got to be too stressful so we decided to push the wedding back to 2013. My mother about had a heart attack since then she has recoved. So as 2012 approached we were contemplating the idea of enlopement and then we just decided not only will be have a wedding but it will be a destination wedding at that! Meaning everyone cant just invite themselvescheers.gif so this is a relief to me so I wont have to foot the bill for 550 + people! lol So Im excited to start the planning process again and I look forward to communicating with others on the forum as I know Im going to need the support! So far half the fam is on board as well as close friends and that is all I need! lol I considered starting to tell people so they can plan accordingly but Ill wait til June for the SAVE THE DATES! Give some people heads up and too much time they might all show up all 500 of them and that defeats the purpose! rolleyes.gif

We are trying to decide if we want to go for a week, then honeymoon for a week or 10 days and go to a different resort- or stay for 2 weeks then do a honeymoon in winter.  So hard to decide what we want.  I need to start my STD's- I am trying to put together a boarding pass, then passport for a formal invite. We have stayed at Dreams before and always love it!

Joining the 2013 bride! I am feeling so overwhelmed - there are so many options. I really like the Palace resorts, but I feel like the new packages are a little over the top. What are any of you 2013 Moon Palace brides selecting as your wedding package?

Hi All!

I too am a newbie! My FI and I are getting married at the Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on April 12, 2013. We are SUPER excited. We have just gotten our Save the Dates and pricing out to our guests! Besides that we really haven't done much, i've tried on dresses but am no 100% on that decision yet!

Best of luck to all the new brides!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
