Hi all! I've been making jewelry for quite a while, and have quite an arsenal of beads and accessories. I made the jewelry for the bride and bridesmaids at my best friend's wedding this last fall as well. I will also be making the jewelry for my bridesmaids. I had a site on Etsy.com, but it just got to be too much to keep up with my full time job. If anyone needs ideas or help with anything while making their own jewelry, I'd love to help! My favorite website to use for beads, etc. is firemountaingems.com.

Chandelier earrings are a pretty easy undertaking once you learn a few basics.... first of all I would search and find out which style exactly you want to go with. The pieces that compose earrings are usually called earring "components" or "findings". You'll definitely need posts or hook earwires, most likely jump rings, components for the chandelier portion, eyepins, headpins, and beads. If you're new to jewelry making it may seem like a lot, but it's really pretty simple. If you have any more specific questions while doing it, or if you'd like to post a picture of what you're thinking about doing and want me to help you figure out what you need and what techniques you'll use, I'd be more than willing! I would start out with googling chandelier earrings, if you haven't already done so, to figure out exactly what style you're thinking of. Let me know what else I can help with. :)

Here are the ones I made my friend. They're pretty simple, but she told me what she wanted and I made it... so they're to her specifications. I did necklaces and bracelets for her and her daughter.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
