I Too am forced to get Married at noon and now have no idea what in the heck we will do inbetween the ceremony and dinner.... I think I will take my family and friends for some sort of photo shoot with the photog (when I find one) or ofcourse host a cocktail hour but I still need to contact the hotel (thanks Bachata Bride :-)

OHH...I am sooo nervous now. I chose to have my wedding at ROR and it is suppose be during the 4:00- 5:00pm. I say suppose to because although I have been contacted saying that it has been confirmed I still have to wait up to 10 days to make sure everything is good with the minister. I guess I should start thinking about timelines just in case the minister is not avaliable at 4:00.

I orgionally booked mine for noon.. Then after talking to my future MIL I tried to change the time to anytime later. I was not able to do it, so will just have to deal with it... It will be fine though I think.. Just have more time for great photo's etc. And it gave me an excuse to buy another more casual wedding dress !!

I totally agree with IRIEBRIDE08's idea. I too will have an early wedding time...mainly for picture taking as i hear the earlier the better picture qualitity. After the ceremony I would like some champagne and H'oderves. We will have a semi private dinner and then either go to the disco or have an iPod beach party.

I am trying to keep everything as simple as possible. The whole purpose of a destination wedding to to keep your day stressfree!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
