I know i've asked tons of questions to some of the ladies here...Thanks so much. I have a phone call with Monica this evening to discuss the details. Still not sure if we've decided on things, but at least you have all helped answer some of our questions. Hopefully things will go smoothly.

Thanks for all the help ladies!! I'm getting excited...we're getting married:

I have spoken to Monica today and suppose of the quotes she gave me are too expensive. She said we may bring our own personal items to add to decor, etc but the charge a set up.....Is she serious? So not only I bring my own personal touch , that we paying for, to make our wedding day enjoyable, they want to charge a set up fee....shaking my head

Is there a way around this? Its bad enough they don't let outside vendors come on the resort.....I'm just so upset and having second thoughts about having my wedding on BTC

my call went well with Monica..she seems nice enough. Some of the quotes were high on some things, but we will probably just do some things on our own. One plus is that we got our 11am timeslot changed!! they have some promo on till the end of this week where you don't have to purchase the IP pkg to get the later sunset time. I'm so excited...that was one of our big worries. Now we're getting married at 5pm. I'm thinking of doing it on the beach now...hmm..

and Butterfly913...i heard that if you just bring your favours, and decor that you want to add and speak with the wedding planner on site - that she usually does it for free..but who knows. Good luck...cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
