Does anyone know what type of room upgrades we get?  I know it has to be in the same category room, but if I book a Deluxe at BBPD, what would it be upgraded to vs.  if I book a Junior Deluxe what would this be upgraded to?  Thank you.

Hi there - just reading through posts and see that you are getting married in May 2014 as well!

 

I too will be doing out of town bags and here are my ideas so far:

- sunscreen

- itinerary/welcome letter

- personalized bottle of water

- some of our favourite treats

- personalized lip balm

- door hanger

 

Do you know anything about outside vendors??  I was told when i did a site visit in June that they do not allow outside vendors.  I have already hired my photographer and make up artist so just plan on paying for a one night stay for each of them.

Hi Melissa,

 

Are you a May bride also??? Our date is the 2nd of May. I have the following so far:

 

 

-personailzed bags

-hand sanitizer

-advil, pepto, for the hangover

-aloe vera

-sun screen

-welcome letter

-I want to buy the door hangers (where did you get yours?)

 

I actually hired my photographer from here, flying her out and having her stay at the resort for a couple of days. She will be covering other activities, apart from the "day"

My wedding is also in April! And no worries I'm probably the same as you. I've gotten a whole bunch of files from my coordinator in terms of food menus, cakes, flowers, colors, etc... But I haven't chosen anything yet. DJ or photographer probably should be done ahead of time if you were looking for services outside of what the resort provides. I know that there is a wedding questionnaire that needs to be filled out closer to the date with all your selections that you will send to the coordinator. Otherwise, not to worry, we still have lots of time! :)

 

Oops I must've been so out of it when I wrote this earlier... Because my wedding is in May not April... LOL sorry about that, but still lots of time ;)

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
