I don't want people to have to spend thousands upon thousands to come to our wedding. Please make suggestions!!!! Thanks

Congrats on your engagement!! Have you picked a place yet?I have been doing research for almost 6 months and hands down decided to go with DReams Cancun for many reasons! The reviews on the food and drink are really good. Also the weddings they do there are absolutely gorgeous!!! Juan Navarro is an excellant photographer and his work is absolutely amazing!! I also fell in love with the lighted dance floor that you can rent from the DJ Dreams has in their wedding package!! I hear nothing but good things about the wedding coordinator.

What have you found so far in your hunt? It's exciting and a great time in your life!! Enjoy every second and have lots of fun along the way!!

A wedding in the Cancun/Riviera Maya would be fabulous and has LOTS of all-inclusive options  ~ I got married there cheesy.gif But my husband and I recently shot a wedding at the Barcelo Palace Resorts in the Dominican Republic and it was just as amazing!!! Definitely check out DR because they've got tons of AI options too!!!

Michelle-

If money is what you want to save then try the small but amazaing boutique hotel LeReve Hotel & Spa in Rivera Maya. I had my wedding there and it was unforgettable. The place offered a secluded area and a beach all to yourself. The hotel has 25 rooms which makes it perfect for family and friends. I have tons of pictures if you want me to show you. My husband and I will be returning to LeReve for our anniversary which the offer a discount every anniversary you go back. If you need any other info let me know. Congratulations! :)

I am in your boat Michelle, I am overwhelmed with the resorts as well.  I am definetly having mine somewhere in Mexico because it is the most affordable for my guests!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
