6 months later and I have made 57 pillows!!! Did anyone else end up making them? I'd love to see pictures.
I thought I would post since my sister came up with a great saying to attach to them... "Siesta so you can Fiesta"
Also to all the ladies thinking of making these, it is a commitment. But once my sewing machine and I made friends it became a lot easier. I just had to fool around with the tension and...well not be scared of the machine.
I did cut some corners... I didn't sewing the opening so it had a hem. I just left it as the terry cloth kind of rolls. I also folded it so the opening ran the long way across. Less sewing and it was a lot easier to get the pillow in.
Wedding is in May, hopefully everyone uses them. I know I will
Few pictures of them rolled up. I just rolled the two together and tied with rafita.

I ordered the inserts from here...

Works out to $1 a pillow plus the shipping costs. Which I don't remember being a lot.
We are on vacation this week. I will let you know how the test run with mine goes

Just checked shipping and it's an additional $41.26. Too bad that's almost the same amount as the order!
