    Hi,
Here is my Newsletter that I have sent out about a month before we leave for the wedding. I thought I would share in case it could help out any other brides.

I can't seem to get the attachment to post. If you would like it PM me and I will send it to you. I used Publisher and it had a nice newsletter format that I used.

Love the newsletter idea. I was thinking of ordering a brochure from Vistaprint...but now looking at this you've inspired me that I can just do a newsletter type of thing. I will be putting them in the OOT bags and shipping them about a week before.

Nice! Does this newsletter take the place of what folks are calling a "pre-travel brochure?"

@FutureMrsYak - I'm curious to know what you're putting in your OOT bags and why you're shipping them out to guests early? Cheaper this way? Or less stuff to lug down?

This is what I sent instead of a pre-travel brochure. It has all information about the hotel, the airport, what to pack, the currency, what to wear, etc.

I'm nervous about lugging all the stuff down there, and dealing with customs. from what i hear it's not an easier shipping the stuff down first...could be held in mexico customs and not released. I figure if i ship them a week before the people (because not everyone lives around us) it will be a little pre travel bags.

We are putting, luggage tags, travel cups, puzzle books, yankee candles, disposable underwater cameras, then all the first aid stuff, aloe vera, sun tan lotion chapstick all that stuff.

Do you guys think its a bad idea or looks funny sending them to people at home a week before we leave? Honestly...
