DIY Before We Leave Newsletter- Riviera Maya

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Here is my Newsletter that I have sent out about a month before we leave for the wedding. I thought I would share in case it could help out any other brides.

I can't seem to get the attachment to post. If you would like it PM me and I will send it to you. I used Publisher and it had a nice newsletter format that I used.

This is what I sent instead of a pre-travel brochure. It has all information about the hotel, the airport, what to pack, the currency, what to wear, etc.

I'm nervous about lugging all the stuff down there, and dealing with customs. from what i hear it's not an easier shipping the stuff down first...could be held in mexico customs and not released. I figure if i ship them a week before the people (because not everyone lives around us) it will be a little pre travel bags.

We are putting, luggage tags, travel cups, puzzle books, yankee candles, disposable underwater cameras, then all the first aid stuff, aloe vera, sun tan lotion chapstick all that stuff.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
