17 Days only. Do I need a program? Menu??

Recommended Posts

Only 17 days until our wedding. and we depart for Akumal next Sunday. Holy crap I have a lot to do. Any ideas on signature cocktails? Do you think I should type up a menu? (we are buying our own liquor). Also, is it necessary for a program? Can I skip that? I still need to create table numbers, select flowers, etc. I don't know what will look nice and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I also need to give me videographer a cd with a few songs for the video. I'd love input on all of these items. And we have 104 guests total including us. I think we are going to take over Akumal - this is crazy! Please help you lovely ladies!

WOW. 104 guest? What a great turn out. I agree with the girls. Table numbers, MAYBE menus (but only if you have time) are important. Just have fun and don't stress too much. Do the things most important to you and if you have time, knock some other things out. I really don't think programs are that important, but that's just me. Good luck!

I agree with previous posters... don't use this time to worry about the small stuff like programs! Maybe you can get someone to help you with it, otherwise scrap it. You have plently of other things to deal with. 104 people- you guys will have a blast! Enjoy.

Thank you all!! I think you are right. I am going to skip the programs, menus, drink menus etc. I'll get my flower order going and then just relax (get my hair died, buy makeup, mani-pedi, etc..) there is still a lot of primping isn't there? Thanks ladies!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
