The table numbers (and our last name initial) are from this seller on Etsy:

That sounds so pretty! Do you have any pictures of the table runners? That sounds so interesting!

My paper lanterns and parasols came. They are awesome!!!

I need to order a few more lanterns - I goofed up on ordering some of the sizes, but not a big deal. I'm going to use the small ones as my aisle decoration and around the top of the gazebo, and the rest for decorating the reception (whenever we figure out where that will be!). I may reuse the small ones on the tables as part of the centerpiece.

The parasols are awesome - got two orange stars that will be beautiful. they will be in front of the gazebo in the sand, and then we'll use them for pictures.

I went with the mango & turquoise lanterns as well. Now I just need to find some turquoise and orange ribbon to match!

I got them from lunabazaar.com - great prices, and they shipped really quickly.

I love those parasols! I saw a picture of someone's beach wedding with pink ones and have always thought they were so cute!

23 things left to check off the list and 4 weeks to do it in... checking things off the list slowly but surely!

I know I'm way ahead of the game, but you can add me to the list I'm 5/25/13.

Those of you hanging paper lanterns, How are you going to light them? or are you going to light them? I saw something about creating battery powered LED lights that you can just stick in them.  http://www.instructa...LED-Throwies/   Is anyone doing anything like that?

I'm working with Alejandro at Lomas.  After hearing how long it was for people to hear back from their WC I was really surprised that he got back to me in only a couple of days, especially because their so far out.

So far I'm really excited.  I can't wait to hear how your weddings are weather wise at the end of May.  I'm hoping that the heat won't be too bad in the evenings.  We picked a 5pm wedding time to be able to have the heat start to fade off.

I'm excited to hear about the signature drinks, since I was thinking about it anyway.  I saw an awesome way to do seating cards by placing table numbers and names on straws in the signature drinks at the cocktail hour.  It was so simple and such a great way to do it.  I think I saw it on martha stewert's website.  I pinned it on my pinterest pinboard.  http://pinterest.com...ff/wedding/     if anyone wants to check it out.

I wouldn't give them the corset ribbon personally... I would take everything off! The beading should be a-ok :) It's not the steaming I'd worry about, it's the staff losing accessories and such.

@jnitschke I've used the individual LED's in the lanterns before and I think they're the way to go! The way the lanterns assemble these are easy to hang from the inside on the metal structure, and they last for over 8 hours.. plenty of time! You can also get amber colored ones so the light isn't quite as white/harsh.

                Stina! You leave soon!!!

Jennifer - I really wasn't thinking about lighting the paper lanterns. My assumption was Tucanes will have enough lights that we won't need to light them (and I'm still hoping Tucanes will be available for us).

Jessica - what are your thoughts on that since you've been to the venue? (and thank you again for the insider info!!!)

Ashley - thank you for sending me the template for your programs. Very much appreciated!!
