  2. Hey everyone....I'm leaving in 16 days!!!! So excited. For those who already had their wedding... what was your schedule for the reception.... I only have 20 people coming down.. not sure if I should just do our intro (minus bridal party) and toasts then eat... Also Did anyone have a second dress...and when did you change? I have an "at home reception" two days after I get back and cannot ruin my dress. So I bought a second one and was planning on changing mid way through the dancing portion of the reception. Just not sure of the logistics! Thanks Denay

  6. I feel your pain.... two of my bridesmaids backed out with 6 months to go...I told them over a year ago...and at that point they were super excited and told me it was an awesome idea!!!! Now I have a problem...My at home reception is the weekend after we get home for the destination wedding...do I let them sit at the head table? They purchased a bridesmaid dress (btw it was on 50 bucks from macys), but they are not going to be there on my big day.... what do you guys think? Also did anyone use your own ipod for the reception? How did that work out..... Denay

  8. Hey everyone.....i need help... I am getting married at el dorado royal in august and plan on having a big at home reception the following weekend....unfortunatly 2-3 of the 5 original bridesmaids cannot make the trip down to Mexico. They all purchased a Macy's find (only $50) bridesmaids dress. My fiance waited longer to ask his groomsmen and only asked 3 people who are all coming. The thing is .... what do I do about the at home reception? Do I have a head table? sweetheart table? us and our familes? I do not know mainly because those two other girls will not "be there" when we are married...so can they even count as bridesmaids anymore?? AND should they wear their dress they bought? PS I am showing the ceremony at home and will be doing all the traditional stuff at home too.
