Hi Everyone,

 

I'm Kelu, and I am getting married on March 9, 2009. It's a long ways away, but I can't help but to plan. I haven't decided on a wedding location. For the past couple of months I've been set on Hawai'i, but just recently, my fiance suggested that we should look into other islands, such as the Caribbean, so I've been doing some research about that.

 

It's going to be a tiny wedding party of 9, including me and the groom. I really want an outside wedding, and we don't plan on having a reception since it'll just be family. We plan to go to a fancy restaurant and call it a day!

 

I've been drawn to the idea of having a villa for our weddingmoon, it's such a good deal, and you get so much more room.

 

Ideally, I'd like to get married in a garden with palm trees overlooking the waters, but a beach wedding would be great too!

 

If you have any suggestions about which location is more preferable, let me know!

and heres a little about our two weeks in the bahamas a little over a year ago. as you can see im partial to eleuthera :)

welcome! I completely agree about the Rock House in Negril, Jamaica. BUT they book up VERY FAST!!! I couldn't reserve it 16 months in advance. if you're interested in there, I'd call ASAP!!!!! but it sounds like everything you're looking for.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
