Have any of you ladies used Caribbean Warehouse to book your holidays/weddings with and do they come up any cheaper than the normal TA (Firstchoice, Thomas Cook, Thomsons etc)?

I just contacted them to see when July 2012 prices would be out and the lady I spoke to was so helpful and didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time by calling and asking questions so early, unlike First Choice, they were so rude when I called them up and basically told me that I'm wasting their time and to call back to ask all these questions when the prices come out and I can actually book...anyway have been considering booking through Caribbean Warehouse but just wanted to know if they worked out any cheaper than the rest.

OMG Charmaine. So sorry to hear that. What horrible news. I really hope your ok and there isn't a third thing. (((hugs))))

We booked ours with Caribbean Warehouse and i would highly recommend them. We have had nothing but great customer care from them. They ring back when they say they will they are far more helpful than the high street TA's. I think they come in just under the others regarding price. They will do their best to get you and your guests exactly what you want for the price you want. The girl looking after us is called Louise and she is a star! All our guests have commented on how nice they are there. :o) It would be a good idea to compare them when the prices come out. I know what you mean though. If first choice were like that with me i wouldn't want to give them my money... or our guests as it works out quite a few thousand for us all to go! Hope that helps you. They will put everyone on the wedding list and group together but book everyone with their own code and in charge of paying their own holiday balance so works out really well.

Kerry also booked with them and she recommended them to me :o)

Char... Thinking of you and you FI and all concerned grouphug.gif Thats awful news!!! Love to you xox

We started looking seriously at trying to price tings up at the begining of 2009 for May 2011 and i have to agree, the TA's were just horrible.... made me feel like i was doing something wrong etc, in the end i went in saying i was looking for May this year just so i could have some sort of price from them.... Never heard of CW until i came on here as like Michelle has said she and 1 or 2 others have used them.. OOoooooo i do wish i found this site earlier!!! haha :-) I think CW is definalty the way to go x

Love the website :-) Its great we used momentville.com and it seems to have worked just aswel x Well done x

Hi ya,

GREAT NEWS!  The STD's have hit New Zealand - YAYAYAYYAYAYAYAY!!!!!

We are in the process of arranging everything with Caribbean Warehouse as we speak and I have to say - they are so so helpful!  I am working with Amy for travel and Gemma for the wedding side of things.  They are so great.  They manage your expectations correctly and seem to go out of their way a lot more then others.  Can't recommend them enough.

So pleased you liked the web page.  I wasnt sure if it looked ok - any constructive criticism?

Just going to have a quick squizzy at yours now Nicy, having seen your eye for detail already Im pretty sure Im going to have to remove my website off of here in shame!

I can't rave enough about Carribean Warehouse so far.

I had the exact same thing when trying to book my wedding a year in advance all the travel agents on the high street spoke to me like crap!

Carribean warehouse were nothing but helpful and polite. At one point we got the advisor to quote about 7 different travel combinations he did not grumble or make us feel like time wasters. I also met some employees when I was at the wedding show in London they were really helpful and were actually promoting my hotel and gave me a flyer which gave me a free room upgrade! Fab!

They always call back when promised, we all booked in April time and my FI's parents wanted to know the upgraded flight price but the advisor said this wasnt out until July. When July came they called and advised us that the prices still werent out but they needed no prompting to do this!

Also I had some problems with my wedding coordinator taking long time to reply, I emailed Gemma within hours she'd emailed me to acknowledge my email and then she had an email fired off to the coordinator which I had a reply from by the next day!

As for prices I'm not too sure as at the time I booked no high street travel agents did my hotel. They did however hold prices for me to allow my guests to book at a certain price. love.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
