Does anyone have advice on trash the dress ?

My photographer is Elizabeth Medina and she offered to have ttd photo shoot. I love the pictures of people who had that done but... what do you look like once wet ? Will everybody on the beach see through the dress !!! ?

What I had planned on doing, is actually wearing a white swimming suit as my undergarments. I thought it would make for cute photos if I eventually took off the dress and had a white suit on... but, I'm weird!

Sarah did a TTD and I don't think you could see though her dress, but with that said maybe it depends on the dress itself.

Just make sure you have a good lining under the dress or a slip on underneath and you should be fine

My dress was lined, and you couldn't see through it. It totally depends on the type of dress.

My dress just was falling down (strapless) and clingy (sheath style)!
          We did this:

And then this...so here's how you look after your dress (and YOU!) get soaked:

I don't have many great close-ups of my dress at the end (it was getting dark and very cold very fast!) but here's kinda an outline. I think my dress did fine. The biggest thing that I see about it is that my dress kept falling down after we got out of the water, and was making my back fat look worse! lol This is not one of my favorite pics of the night...

I think these pics are so cool, but I'm not sure I'll do it! I guess I'll have to wait and see how much my dress actually ends up costing and then I'll decide!

Did you have your dress cleaned yet? How did it clean up if you did?

I have heard of some brides buying a second less expensive dress to use to trash the dress, especially if they are doing a session the following day and not on their actual wedding day!

I didn't have it cleaned, because it didn't get dirty at all. As soon as DH & I got back to the hotel, we soaked both his suit and my dress in the tub and rinsed them well the next morning. I didn't figure I'd be able to resell it (it's hemmed to me barefoot and I'm only 5'1") so I haven't had it cleaned...but there's really no need as it doesn't even look worn.

                    I had 2 dresses.
