Where are you registered and what has your experience been like?

We registered at Linens N Things and Macy's. I was very happy w/ both. Our only reason for choosing LNT over BB&B was that they had some dishes we really liked that BB&B didn't carry. Otherwise they have a LOT of the same stuff!

Target is great too! They always have TONS of cute stuff and since there's Target everywhere it will be easy for people to shop for your gifts etc.

I like Crate and Barrell alright...but I agree, you can pretty much get the same stuff at Target for cheaper

We registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. They are both so easy to do. I actually did most of it online. Target is great b/c Mike and I have lived in our house for 3 years and don't need much traditional stuff, so we were able to get cool things like a bike stand, bar stools, etc.

we registered at macy's and bbb...we didn't need a lot of the traditional stuff, like china, so we just registered for everything that we would want and never buy for ourselves....for the wedding, jewish people typically give money, so the presents would solely be for the shower.

if you are thinking about registering at crate and barrel, make sure that you check out CB2 - a new destination from Crate and Barrel for modern furniture, home accessories, and gift registry. they have awesome stuff there....and if you're into modern housewares, check out Contemporary furniture, modern furniture, contemporary home décor, contemporary home accessories, modern home decor, modern home accessories. they have a registry there too!

We are registered at Target and Free honeymoon registry - give and receive honeymoon gifts. No fees, no strings - Honeyfund.com

We are both 30 and have everything we need so we figured if people wanted to give us something they could buy us room service on our trip or a night on the town. This is the only site that I could find that didn't charge a fee.

We did Macy's, JC Penney, & REI. So far almost everything has come from Macy's. I will say the people at JC Penney have been the most involved - they have called me three times. Once to congratulate me on the engagement, once to see if I needed enclosures or a free wedding planner, once to congratulate me on the wedding...lol

REI was basically for the husband and there is really cool stuff there too. If your FI wants a registry he can be involved in that is free from china and casserole dishes, check them out. There is also home depot, mine likes to camp and fish and stuff so REI was a better match.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
