Susanna, I'm pretty sure Cabo del Sol is technically considered in Los Cabos, because it's about 15 minutes from the actual town of Cabo. I think maybe they put Cabo San Lucas on things because it is more recognizable and is the closest town. I put Cabo del Sol Golf Clubhouse on our save the dates. I also refer to it as being located in Los Cabos, but there is a map on the back page of the save the dates that explains the Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos/San Jose del Cabo layout.
Hope this helps!

We can help eachother out along the way..

What vendors are you using so far? I am in the process of getting quotes from some different vendors for things like lounge furniture, fire dancers etc. We booked our officiant (Marco Arechiga).

Are you going to be working with a TA?

My FI and I are planning on doing a site visit next month as well :)
Hi to the June 2011 brides!

Knbell22 - I loved all the reviews on here so I booked my photographer (Gilda Badillo), my DJ (Ricardo), my officiant (Rev. Arechiga), and I'm booking thru Tammy. I have been intouch with all these people and they are so friendly and helpful that I definitely look forward to working with them more! I want fire dancers, but at this point thats an extra for me that Ill probably wait until much later to decide on. I decided on Tammy because she's built a repoire with these ladies and she has been a guest at the resort several times herself so she has all the first hand experience. There was something very comforting in this for me. We'll be in Cabo at resort for Memorial weekend. I cannot wait to go and check it out, take my own photos and just know that thats where we'll be married.

Donie - love your website. Its my next project along with save the dates as soon as I get back from the resort. I need something to keep me busy during this long engagement. ;-)

Vness33- How funny we have most of the same vendors..so far! I have only booked Rev. Marco and DJ Ricardo so far. We are still deciding if we will be able to fly our photographer out or not. I am also working with Tammy who has been great and so helpful. When do you plan on starting on your group block for rooms?

I told my WC that I was interested in the fire dancers but like you, this would be an extra that we decide on once we get closer and see how the budget is going.

We just took our E-pics this past Sat so I am anxiously waiting to get them back from our photographer and get our STD's ordered! Progress :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
