Got up this morning and just as sudden as they appeared, the 4 lbs are gone again. What the hell was that? Could you imagine if that was my wedding day. I guess there is a reason people say only weigh yourself once a week. Thank goodness yesterday wasn't weigh in day.
Cindy, don't be discouraged. Your body can fluctuate several pounds during the course of one day. It all depends on when you last ate, when you last went to the bathroom, how much fluid your body is retaining currently, how hydrated you are.

So, I would recommend weighing yourself at the same time wearing the same thing (or lack thereof) every week. That will be the best representation of how you're really doing.

My work is ordering pizza and cake tomorrow for lunch UGH.. so myself, and one of my other coworkers (who is a bridesmaid in someones wedding in November), will be going to my house for lunch tomorrow. I hate to sound like a "poor sport" at work, but I can't even look at the food or smell it, and the moment I do - game over!

Hi Stacey! You don't sound at all like "poor sport". You are focus on something VERY important in your life, which is loosing weight and being healthy! so, CONGRATS to you for going home for lunch tomorrow rather than making a wrong choice.!!!!!

Today is has been very hard for me... I was doing ok this morning, but this afternoon I "had" to eat two pieces of chocolate.. I feel like such a looser.. I didn't need to eat them, but I did anyways... I feel like I failed already... horrible.

Well the coworker who put together the pizza and cake thing just came to me and said "Is there something wrong?". I was like no, i'm fine. She says "well you're not having pizza or cake tomorrow". I was replied with "Listen, I'm getting married on the beach in November, I dont need to say anything else" haha that was the end of story.

I hope I don't give in and have any.

You know what I do when I eat bad and Im feeling horrible. I go home and exercise it off.

Hey elifrigo, two pieces of chocolate won't kill you, but feeling like a loser might -- don't let the guilt get to you. Every moment is another opportunity to start over.

Kudos to you for resisting the temptation! I know that I would have to remove myself from the situation as well. And that reminds me of that FitBitch blog: FitBitch. It's pretty funny, if you haven't seen it. That girl is always dodging unhealthy coworkers and their junk food, lol.

I've had a run in with several co-workers over this!! I unfortunately had to put my foot down in a rather aggressive way and tell people to stop putting candy and pastries on my desk- AND I still get comments on what I eat at work....

I was feeling kind of tired today and the weather was so nice, I started thinking about skipping yoga. But then I thought NO! I have to go! So I gathered all my energy and dragged my butt to yoga. I got there 15min early but when I went to sign in, they said the class was FULL! This is the first time I have seen this happen... I feel so disappointed and bleh now. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
