    Congratulations and love your extensive review & summary.

    Did you ever receive your wedding pics from the photographer?
    Was she included from the package or did you hire her?
    I am planning a fall DW at DRC and thinking of hiring a photographer outside of the wedding package.

          Um, I just about fell over reading this review- sooo many things I've been stressing about were just answered! Thank you so much for all the details and photos. Love how you gave everything a grade- can't even tell you how helpful this was. You looked amazing by the way and just LOVED your dress!! 

           

          I was wondering if you or anyone could help answer this question for me. We are trying to decide whether to do an all-inclusive resort vs a non all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya. As I am super interested in the Dreams resort you had your wedding at, I was a bit surprised to see the wedding cost was almost the same as what I've been quoted at a non-all-inclusive. It seems odd to me that if my guests are paying a higher rate towards their food & beverage, why are they resorts charging for cocktail hours, open bar, and a 3 course dinner? Don't get me wrong, I understand there is labor and set up involved as well as all the other enhancements (dj, photographer, etc.), but shouldn't it be less overall seeing the guests are already absorbing some of the cost? 

           

          Its something I just don't get and was hoping I could get a helpful response. :(

            Laura, thank you soo much for sharing your pictures and wedding day info with us.  Your wedding looked and sounded perfect.  Do you by any chance have Flower lists and wedding photorgapher names that the hotel offers??? I am new to the site and have not reached the level of opening up attachments so i was wondering if you are able to email me those if of course you have them :)  thank you again and CONGRATS!!!!

              Because they can and can get away with it.  they justify it by saying they need more staff but really...cause I know they pay the workers way less a month than what we are paying for the service!!  woooo...just venting!

                    Hi Laura, 

                     

                    Did you have to rent the linen for the canopy and chairs, the chairs and the aisle runner?
